  1. Your guest is sound and profound . I agree largely with most of his submissions. If care is not taken , these greedy politicians would erode us of our cultures and we'd loose our identity as people.

  2. "The President of Nigeria is one of the most powerful Presidents in the world " and what have they been doing with it till now? Power in the hands of fools becomes the weapon for their destruction.

  3. Wow!!!! ARISE NEWS did well to bring this guy to their studio. Absolutely brilliant young man…..I enjoyed every single minute of this show. Not only does he have an excellent perspective of the subject matter……he has a very charming disposition and personality as well.
I loved it when he said "part of the qualities of a good warrior is also to recognize that the fight shouldn't be frontal ". I LOVE THIS GUY'S INTELLIGENCE.♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️

  4. Politicians should be banned from interfering with historical traditions. They could respect British grandchildren but can't respect their own traditional rulers. Have they seen British politicians interfering with the royal family and historical values?

  5. My only question for this man is, since these traditional institutions are in place what has the common people of those northern regions gained, they are ravaged with poverty, illiteracy and insurgency. Sanusi fits the throne because he has been vocal in the development of the poor almajiri.

  6. Nigerian politicians are using their colonial master’s strategy and style to control their people.. The Northern politicians in particular.
Most of us during our history class in primary schools, we learned about DIRECT AND INDIRECT RULES during the colonial era.
The British used the emires to keep their people in check. Thus.. the British controlled the emires while the emires controlled the people on behalf of the British government (INDIRECT RULE). Now, those politicians are doing the same. They know that THEIR OWN CHOSEN EMIRE will work for them as supposed to an Emire choosing by another politician… It’s all about POLITICAL LOYALTY !!!!.
In the south, it was a different set up by the British. The southerners were very stubborn and had no respect for local OVERALL TRADITIONAL RULERS/ INSTITUTIONS, so the British had to use DIRECT RULE to SOFTEN UP the southerners.
Of course, the southern politicians, over the years are beginning to behave like their northern counterparts by using traditional institutions as a STEPPING STONE to achieve their goals and aims.

  7. Blame the politicians !!!. Looking at the big picture, historically, the politicians pick and choose whoever will do their biddings . As most of us know, the Northern Emires have great control and influence over their subjects. Which ever direction they point, the entire population will follow. That’s simply the culture , and the politicians see this as a VERY USEFUL TOOL. Plain and simple !!!!!.

  8. Take away the powers of state governments and governors to pay the wages of kings and to coronate them: this is British colonising continuing and bring used to batter our state institutions. Sanusi should never have been dethroned in the first place in the old days we don’t depose kings, the Muslims are different. The removal of the Benin emperor by the British something we will never forget even 1000 years from now. It was a devastating earthquake in West Africa and shows the evil of colonialism. Governors she sworn into office by electoral frauds most times in Nigeria. Why should these politicians who are ordinary civil servants and the children of common men be given such powers over royal bloodlines. Do they wage a prince to wake up one day and use traditional powers to remove the entire political classes in a revolution like the filth that they are and promote loyal subjects into politics or better still royals. These children of commoners with no leadership or warrior genes in them have destroyed our country anyway. Why should their class continue to rule Nigeria? Because the British said so? It’s time we decolonise and a revolution will enable us to do so effectively so we can jail politicians who embezzle national funds.

The stupid kings should start to respect themselves and start playing neutrality in politics. We need the house of kings in our politics to checkmate those stupid and greedy parliamentarians or have them removed so we can have an emperor.

  9. The reason why sunusi was brought in the first place was to anger the former president Good luck Ebele Jonathan. He wasn't in kano emirate for a very very long time before they decide to bring him after his suspension as CBN governor.

  10. People all over, blaming politicians for destroying the kano emirates. This thing is not only happening in kano emeirates. It happnes all over nigeria as long as a traditional ruler exists there. The tradtional rulers ha e to be blamed and nkt the polticians. They allow themselves to be used and bought by the politicians espcially during elections andnthat is what has giving rise to all these. These things started in 1999. In the military era/ regime, things like this were never there.

  11. This is not even about the people and best serving them at all. It’s all political and for the short term. It’s going down in the history books as moments in which politicians manipulated the Kano emirate for their selfish interests. Khalas.
