Seswaa and stew are very different. Stew are done with a bunch of vegetable like tomatoes, carrots etc. Seswaa does not include vegetables. You can put onion in seswaa, that’s it.
Well, in Northern BW we say Bogobe jwa Mabele (sorgham meal) or Bogobe jwa Phaleche (Maize meal) where as in the South Bogobe is strictly sorgham meal and Papa is papa not bogobe. What you guys in Mzantsi and may be Zim call Mopane tree we say Mophane tree. The "Pha" sounds like as in "Partly". Then the caterpillar itself we call it Phane. Thats how we say it not to say others are wrong dear. We are all correct. thank you.
There's mix up with regards to Seswaa. It is in no way referred to as stew, even in SA. Seswaa (BW) is called Chotlho in (SA) . And stew is stew if you know what i mean, hahaha
