Tyla receives 8 nominations at the 2024 Billboard Music Awards

South African music star Tyla shines on the international scene once again as she bagged 8 nominations at the Billboard Music Awards 2024.

The most interesting event about the nods is that the singer is competing against herself in Top Afrobeats Song Award category with the songs Water, Truth or Dare, and Jump.

The award-winning star was nominated for the Top R&B Album Award for her debut album which is named after her.

She was also nominated for the Top R&B Artist, Top Afrobeats Artist, Top R&B Song and Top R&B Female Artist Awards.
