To the scientists who say the tagging of white sharks is too invasive – how would you go about learning about them? Learning as much as you can leads to better conservation techniques and educating the public so that they too can help with conservation efforts. I'm pretty sure the tagging is a minor nuisance for the shark and scientists like Greg Skomal know what they're doing and would never needlessly cause sharks even minor pain.
