house help / cook will do laundry and cook and clean. It also depends on the persons status for example if he is a corporate executive like I was then it will be very challenging. There are people who are humble though who will go down and work their way up through the various impediments immigration employment adjusting to social life etc. It can be done its an act of sacrifice with God on side it will be successful.
Leave your African pride before you board the plane and live as a team and all will be fine.

My advice is if you don't get a job you want after 6 months, try to find something doing or else you may start getting bored and frustrated. It will lead to unnecessary quarrels watching your wife go to work and you sitting at home. Coro is going to make things difficult so even if it is volunteering do it. Get out of the house, meet people, make friends, upgrade your skills, do your research if you have to take online classes. Depending on where you live you may not have a lot of Nigerians so don't try to stick to only Nigerians. Be careful the kind of advise you take from people.
My advise, don't go if u have a good job in your country. I'd advise the wife can go to uk if it were the other way round.

From a personal experience perspective, move to England gradually. Do back and forth visit before you make the final leap. Don't just drop everything yet in Nigeria.
