  1. Ruger LCP and a Sticky holster I carry almost always. A man with his hand in his pockets is a normal sight. A 380 might not be one’s battle preference, but I hope it gets me time to get to that piece. Lol. Like Kenny Rogers in the movie surrounded by several and he had a derringer. Enemies laughing that he only has two shots and he asked two of ya willing to take one. Lol

  2. Thanks for the video, I bought my Lcp 380 back in July when Florida past the concealed carry law, I'm 65 and weight is 155 lbs. the 380 fits my size without being visible, so far no issues, if you combine it with the proper ammo it's a good bang for the buck for a small compact

  3. after listening to your review, i went and got one, its seems like a great little pistol, light weight, easy to use, fits in pocket just right, at my age (75) just needed a little extra. thanks again for your video

  4. Awesome video. Ide recommend lookin into getting a 7+1 round factory ruger magazine. The little extra length makes it so much better to grip and you dont lose hardly any of its compactibility. Ive also heard alot of people saying how good the "hogue grips" are for these, but havent tried the grip myself yet.

  5. Thanks for the video. I had an LPC 2 for a while, but didn't care for it. Just recently bought the standard LPC and love it. I know some folks don't care for the double-action trigger, but I find it to be a good shooting, accurate little pistol, particularly in 7 – 5 yard defensive ranges.

  6. FYI: This model of the LCP is not designed to hold open on the last round (the LCP II will), but it’s otherwise an excellent EDC. I’ve had mine for about 10 years & never experienced a malfunction w/any kind of ammo. I use a Hogue rubber slip on grip & the factory 7 round mag to help w/my XLG hands. Over time I’ve p/u five extra factory mags so range time is not so much of a struggle. I pocket carry in a DeSantis pocket holster, a bit better than the one supplied by Ruger.

  7. I have the same one ,the new standard lcps have the same extractor as the lcp max now, mine has functioned with everything i have put through it ,i bet i put at least a dozen different hp through it also hardcast flat nose underwood ,i put the hougue grip on mine ,good lil pocket gun.

  8. 🤠Mount the ArmaLaser TR2G for Ruger LCP Super-Bright Green Laser on that Ruger LCP 1 and have fun. Extremely accurate at 12 meters. Amazon about 150ish plus Laser Pocket Holster MADE IN U.S.A to accommodate it, 16 bucks..

  9. Sorry AL but that gun is junk. I bought brand new about 4 years ago RUGER LCP 380.ACP just one jam after jam sent it back to RUGER TWICE and still jam o manic. I used it as a trade in for another gun at my local pawn shop. WILL NEVER OWN ANOTHER RUGER LCP 380.ACP NEVER!!!

  10. Ruger Lcp 380 in Ohio a 63 year old lady was about to be robbed at gun point, fired 3 shots even though one may have did it, was successful, never under estimate a 380 or a small gun, he didn't see it on her so a bad day for him but she did what she had to do, thank God for the 2nd amendment, never know if you will ever have to use that right to carry defending your life, I got a Ruger Lcp my self, still one of the best guns to look unarmed but still be armed

  11. Alright … were back to shooting & guns. I have the LCP2, and it is a tiny but great pistol … that .380 looks like it could be a great carry gun too. You showed the importance of knowing your gun & what ammo works best. I always found the .380 to be jumpy in my hand … hard to grip. Thanks for being out on the range again.

  12. Good night my friend. The good thing about his videos is that he likes all the weapons, he never complained about any of them. Congratulations on always being in a good mood. God bless the Americas 🇧🇷🤝🇺🇲🙏

  13. good shooting. i never shot an lcp but have an lcp2 that is a great little gun. i have a keltec 3at which is what ruger copied and it shoots well but pinches my finger like its big brother, the p11. the p32 is sweet.

  14. I carry 7 in mine with one in the chamber. The holster is the safety. They are small and snappy in the hand. They aren't meant to be accurate at distance. I have the original model but with a good serial number. The first batch had problems with going off when it was shocked like in dropping.

  15. I have been looking for a ruger to teach my 15 year old granddaughter daughter but never liked those triggers that had safety lever on the trigger I like skeleton trigger can you tell the model or where I could get one thx for your time

  16. I'm seriously considering acquiring either the LCP Max and/or the LCP II 22 for a pocket backup to my Max-9. Thanks for the video and keep shooting my friend 👍😊.

  17. I carry an LCP max 380 , love it ! I have it in a kidex holster from Alabama holster and it doesn't print to bad and covers the trigger and mag release good. Thanks for the video Al !

  18. Nice pistols. Have the LC9s which can be a handful with some rounds. The LCP 380 are fun to pull the trigger on. If only 380 ammo would drop back down in price to 9mm prices.

  19. Good morning Old Mate.
Just in time for a coffee and video 😊
I been thinking… what do you think of my idea about starting a Water Pistol channel for us Aussies….😊
I could test all water pistols, legal available
and test various types of ammo ( coloured waters, etc)
So Old Mate, what do you think? 😊😊😊

  20. Had mine for 10+ years now and love it. Mine has always shot about 4" low at 7yds, but I allow for that. Mine came with the original plastic trigger that would pinch your finger on reset. Replaced it with a aftermarket aluminum flat trigger that is adjustable for over-travel and re-set. The aftermarket Pro-Mag 10 round magazines work flawlessly in mine as does the factory 7 rd offering. Keep up the good work Al.
