I CAN'T BREATHE: George Floyd – Will this ever end?
White Minnesota police officer Derek Chauvin pinned George Floyd to the concrete as he hollered that he could not breathe. George screamed. Screamed for his mother. Screamed for his breath. For his life.
For many watching the footage, George’s cries echoed Eric Garner’s “I can’t breathe.” New York police department officer Daniel…

Now I know why I love this brother. He speaks facts with passion.
Can we end this treatment? Yes, We most be ready to die for each other. The fight is for black people, Africa leaders need to stand up too. I don't care what amounts of money that would be given to floyd family that would protect his children from this hate from these people. We must be ready to die for this skin,we are born in. Unity, Unity,Unity!
Nigerians and African Americans are the most discriminated by racist whites, because we are very strong people and they know it. There are, whether people want to admit it or not, many similarities between us. The more they try to keep us down the more we rise. Nigerians and African Americans do NOT give up. We catch hell, and are demonized more than anyone.
We recognize our problems but we should not let any divide and conquer rhetoric make us turn from each other. 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
The French will tell you straight “We don’t rent to Africans”. I have friends from Gabon who lived there and were told to their faces, “We don’t rent to Africans”.
That police has his hands in his pockets the entire time as if he were showing off for the cameras.
Also that was not even a real ambulance. The first thing the emt’s should have done was to make the police take his foot off Floyd’s neck, to give him aid. He was already dead.
Floyd did nothing wrong. He did not pass a counterfeit $20 bill. In fact who the hell can ever tell if somehow a bill is counterfeit. How would Floyd or any ordinary citizen know. Later it was found he did absolutely nothing wrong.
African American mothers haven giving their sons “the talk”, for all our lives to try to protect them. It’s still no guarantee. We can’t purchase play guns for our boys from toys r us. We tell them why. Little Tamir Rice, a small built 12 year old, was playing with a toy gun by himself in the park and the police just drove up and killed him. A little boy.
It’s no joke. Phrankleen you are telling the absolute truth. That white boy who shot and killed all those Black people in their church in South Carolina. The police put a bullet proof vest on that murdered, and took him to Burger King because he was hungry!! If a Black man had done that he would have been riddled with bullets.
African Americans never stop fighting though. We don’t have to personally know the person. We don’t care that we are the minority. We do the best that we can. African Americans don’t care that we are out numbered. We will die anyway, so die fighting. African American Women lead many protests. It may not change everything, but it does bring some change. We know we may die, but we don’t care.
They CANNOT kill our sons, our Men and we say nothing!!! NEVER. Now they think it’s fine to murder Black Women in our beds, pull a Black Woman over while driving, arrest us for nothing, hang us in jail and say it was suicide. That’s how they will deal with African American women.
If you remember or have read our African American History, many of us went to jail, protesting for the freedom of Nelson Mandela. Gladly!! We have always kept our eyes on the Mother Land, and have gone to the streets for our Brothers and Sisters in Africa too. We have never just thought of ourselves. Many don’t realize this. I say this because so many people criticize us, not having really known our history in America. There are thousands of references. We have our very serious problems of course, but we are basically good people. Our young Men do not deserve to be murdered.
We are a people who were stripped of everything from the very beginning. Our language, our religion, our names. We were actually “human money”, that could be traded for a house, land, lost gambling debts.
Over hundreds of years of free labor. We did not ask to come to America. We are literally the only Americans who did not volunteer to come here. PLEASE understand that fact.
Besides Native Americans, who has a better reason to fight for our rights. We will NEVER stop fighting.
The same power that is strangulating our families(blacks folks) in the west is same that keep us down and disunited back home. They are hell bent on not making us come together. Like the brother said – we must want this freedom so much that collectively be ready to die. The oppression United State got from King George III of United Kingdom was not even close to what is happening to black folks and yet they were ready to die and started what is today known as The American Revolution
The dust did not settle.
It is The 13th Amendment and The 1994 Violent Crime Bill along with the ''Stop and Frisk'' laws that needs to be changed and or eliminated. The 13th Amendment has a clause in it to allows for slavery to this day as it relates to the American penal system. 1994 The Violent Crime Bill is what has allowed for police brutality and mass incarceration along with systematic racism. Reparations in the monetary form would give us the resources to mass exodus from America be it to Africa or other parts of the world. The ADOS platform addresses legal redress and reform also. Read ADOS101.com. This is just one front we are fighting on. Here's a link to how we are fighting in other ways, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f4Kap_0RUMc
Please be an ally and come together with us and not try to lead us. We could use more soldiers.
@26:11, the caller is speaking of the story about Emmitt Till.
Phrankleen, much respect and appreciation. Recently discovered you. Love your platform. May Peace be yours!
Way forward is to relearn our true history, reform our education system. They say does you know history controls the future.
Please don’t give up on this issue. Please speak about again.
We are Africans not animals. They have been eating my people here for hundreds of years. I feel hopeful now. Thank you for your voice. Thank you for your
fairness. I watch you all the time and I love the comments from likeminded brothers and sisters. Bless us all
Please check out Dar Basim on Instagram, The videos are horrendous. Many people dont see these videos cos media doesn't show it. Only way is to return to the motherland and seek peace it's been 400 years no more years.
Emmet Till
A lot was addressed in this section, this was powerful indeed. Thanks Phrankleen
So very sad and heartbreaking 😭😭😭💔💔💔
The white got into the black, divide us, used us, rule us, kill us, have us under control because our fathers sold our races… long ago. And it's because they found us and have us exposed. To win this generational war… African leaders needs to unite in truth to either leverage the showmanship or have these people leave us to our world. It hurts man.
I think Chauvin was strung out on drugs. I saw the horrific video and that demonic, bugged out look in his eyes coupled with his apathetic voice resembled the sociopathic effects of meth. Great video dude.
Phrankleen I'm sending you this because I would like to contact you and send you an inbox on email but not really sure how to do it. sorry old school, if you can please reach me and let me know how I would appreciate it, trying to get in touch with you in reference to what's going on here in the states.
see you soon in body bags covid 19 makes you cant breath
i wish i can give you a thousand likes today. You hit the nail as usual!!!!
We need to confront our history. Know thyself.
Jesus Kills Floyd , JesusAkbar.
Only one cop has been arrested of the four involved in Floyd’s murder. Justice must be done. Thanks for covering this issue. It’s heartbreaking what is happening here in the U.S. with Black people.
The question we should ask is what African Leaders are doing as a continent to curb this? Are we looking at sanctions? Trade threats? etc. Things will be like this until we find a way around the economic imbalance that currently holds.
😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
Bless your heart Phrankleen, you are so compassionate in the way you talk whenever you talk about issues in relation to black community, the emotion you just demonstrated got me teary eyes as a mother. It’s so sad the way we’ve been treated all over the world, you are right it’s so hurtful 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
@Phrankleen You want to know who created division in the United States among African-American and Africans? Here are some receipts: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y0p5f1jMXhI&feature=youtu.be You can not tell me Africans did not export tribalism to the shores of America after viewing these receipts. You continue to blame ADOS but, Africans created the division this is a fact. Also, Nigerians have done nothing to support African-Americans and nothing or little to assist other African nation these are the simple facts. I know you want the world to believe Nigerians have supported African-Americans in our struggle but, the world knows that is not true. You can not come to me and claiming your my friend after committing the worst type of betrayal. It is Africans responsibility to repair the relationship not African-Americans. We did not betray Africans.
This is a true strategy in England with the white people they do are say things to you and when you try to explain then they said you are being aggressive and threatening
I experience racism when I visited Italy as a tourist. Everybody treats black people like garbage. We need to stand together I’m ready
We have to change the system economically, not lawfully our own politicians are evil
not only black people but white people, Asian, Caucasian, Hispanic, Arab everyone of good conscience have to stand against this hatred.
