Sometimes ppl who are introvert Or hesitant are too shy too take stand for them suffer a lot, as a result these ppl who don't take ticket harass them. If you want seat pay for one if you can't then don't disturb others at least who paid.
I was once travelling un a bus and a guy sitting right behind my seat was trying to touch my neck. I ignored once, thinking it may be a mistake. Secind time, i turned around and loudly shouted. 'Whats wrong? Why are you touching me" he pretended being sleepy and doing it by mistake. I said i know very well, it is not a mistake. He then started apologising. I also called the conductor to move him to another seat or move me. If he dint, i said i will call the police. The conductor was also not ready to cooperate and asked me to request other passengers to switch the seats. By now all passengers woke up due to this noise and light on. The was saying sorry to me, because he was not exoecting i will react and he will face this embarrassment. Meanwhile, an Indian army soldier sitting on adjacent seat, was boosting moral of this guy telling him, why are you apologising, be a man, dont be timid etc. That was so shocking to me. I told the army guy, he accepted his mistake and apologising too, and you are trying to defend him? Is this why you wear this uniform??? Dont you feel ashamed?
Anyway, things were on my side bcz of Gods grace, and this was not north India, and this guy was not a seriap harasser i think. He was educated i felt and he was not experienced. Otherwise such criminals dont care, they dont apologise they r not even scared of police
Indian public are yhe worst when it comes to rescuing a women ftom harassment. I assume it's because most of the men are harassers themselves. So they kinda enjoy another man having good time harassing a lady.
Same happened sleeping it's 2am suddenly someone fold my legs and when i see there are two lady's and one man sitting after half hr they get out but man you really don't have sympathy that one guy is sleeping comfortably on his reserved set and you just folded his legs to sit for half Hr 😔

Travelling without fine is someone personal compulsion/choice but atleast do not disturb those who spent their money on booking those reserved seats. Do not sit on others/reserved seats unless someone gives you permission.

Railway department is always in loss as per general coach cannot accomodate whole passenger without reservation . It is not a big deal in life there always crowd in reserved coaches If u have problem with this why u not tried A1/A2/A3 coaches with no crowd

It is important to inform authories because those people don’t have identify registered as they don’t have ticket. If they bother the girl even then it is difficult to find them later.
This is very common in in trains going to UP , I cried once, they behave very badly. These people are daily workers, they treat people including women very badly , they sit forcefully even the woman or little girls are sitting. I have faced so many times this issue with my family when I was young but now I don't travel in these trains.

This unreserved system should come to an end. Big root cause of all this.
Hire more RPF 1 train 100 perosnnel should be available at any time.
One or two RPF. What will they do with such big crowd.
Collect fines from people travelling without ticket strictly and give jail sentence for repeat offenders.
If you want our trains to be at par with our airplanes. Rules and implementation should also be at par.
If there is so much demand. Increase number of coaches and introduce more trains.
Sleeper class people pay for thier seat too. Its not free. They deserve peaceful travel too. Its their right.
