  1. We buy cars is and always will be the best place to buy a car you must as with everything else understand if it's too good to be true also like 70% of dealers buys from them either way so cut out the middle men

  2. Let me tell you my experience with this particular branch. I bought a bakkie, but luckily I snap pictures of everything about the bakkie, when I picked it up after a few days when the deal was done, and right before I left the premises we noticed that the rear seat headrests were gone as well as the owners manual. All that were there when we tested the vehicle and if I did not took pictures it would have been on my expense. So someone is stealing parts from the car after the deal was done. And as you have seen, all cars are locked to the public, so that leaves the employees.
I have also spoken to 2 other people that bought vehicles from that branch and the same thing happened to them. Nothing wrong with the bakkie though, cant complain about the vehicle.

  3. I had a really bad experience with we buy cars. Bought an Audi A3 from them. Just after I bought the car there were many problems. They never mention to me before I bought the car about all the problems. Never gonna deal with them ever again

  4. Been through that place so many times 😅 Important thing to do is; either go there with a plan to browse (to come back later), or with your research already done. E.g a lot of European brands do facelifts, and i.t.o price the pre-facelift models always look very attractive, but often they have major changes under the skin i.t.o engines etc. , however with the same name and designation ( Ask the BMW and Audi/VW folks, 2013 – 2015 especially🥲) The salespeople obviously get commission so they'll try hard to rope you in hard ,but chill. The bargains fly, but they can also be hit and miss so if you MUST buy one make sure you have brasse that can fix it haha. Also some managers do use the nice ones as dailies as they're allowed too. And for f's sake don't buy anything before you test drive it. They'll try and make you jump through hoops, but you'll be able to get your money back if the car is shite.

  5. Great idea guys, I bought from them last year. Try do your undercover investigation again, but buy online. After rejecting a car that I paid for in full and installed a Netstar tracking device, I had to pay to have it transferred to another car after the guy that handled my purchase informed me that the factory warranty was removed because the previous owner had an oil leak repaired privately and it wasn't done correctly. Then when I collected the replacement car I found damages that were undisclosed and cost me a service and repairs the same day. I was aware that a door was repaired but later realized how bad the body work was.

  6. “Cash or finance?” Is to explain both ways and to determine who’s gonna waste time. People want to sell their cars there but expect to buy a brand new one for the price of a garage pie. 🤷🏾‍♂️

  7. We buy cars is the real deal nothing wrong there a report is there to explain the car issues and DEKRA is an honest inspection company also the stickers get to differentiate between the condition of the cars green gold and platinum stickers have a meaning people need to understand things no issues with DEKRA reports webuy cars is honest❤

  8. This seems too much like a promo video guys. No cons, only pros. A real test would be selling a car with a problem known to you, and then going back to check if the problem is disclosed.

  9. I recently purchased a car from we buy cars that was under motorplan. I went to bmw to change the plan on my name and they confirmed the original battery was removed and I had to pay R7k for a new battery. They confirmed that there is no spare key but the slip indicated that a spare key was handed in. A spare key from bmw costs close to R7k. So that’s R14k from. The time I purchased the car. The dekra report confirmed all tyres were in very good condition. The car was sold with a roadworthy certificate. When I went to pick up the car there was a bubble on the tyre wall, they initially refused to replace the tyre. I had to complain to the dealer principle who then asked the sales person to get the tyre replaced it’s been over one and a half months and two roadworthy certificates and my car licensing is still not done. There complaints line is useless no one responds to complaints. So I personally would not recommend buying from we buy cars or at least be prepared to take on the risk in dealing with them. I haven’t even started about the unethical finance and insurance manager that does not follow fais guidelines when selling insurance products.

  10. Got a Ranger from them almost 5 year ago and still going strong. The sales man was the let down. Any secondhand car is a risk to buy. Take someone with or take the car to someone. Then buy or dont buy.

  11. WebuyCars = What you see is what you get. Wanted to purchase a Nissan Nivara from them, took it for a test drive and wanted to see if the sales person new what diff lock was, he didn't as he let me test drive the vehicle all the way in diff lock.

  12. Half of this vid is accurate.
If you don't take panelbeater/mechanic and auto electrician, you can easily make a mistake buying there. 98,2% is kak.
If you do understand the above, you can get some deals. I've bought kwaai stuff.
    And what is "as expected"😂

  13. Naa guys we buy cars is shady i bought a Category A car from them, the reports showed no accidents, a friend of mine who is a penalbeater shows me the car was involved in accid3nt..i took the same car back to them about 6 months later to selll, they tell me the car was in an accident, and offered me almost 30% less than the purchase price

  14. So out of all those cars, your favourite is a 1st gen A class?
    A 1st generation A class???
Yeah so i guess the merc snobbery continues
Thought things wouldve changed but the thing that made the channel stop growing is still very present.
Just understand…a car review channel that is biased…make it make sense

But thanks for atleast talking about the 300c…yes its not everyones cup of tea but a good car is a good car. Forget about the badge just for a bit

  15. ai ja ,,people saying they have dekra ,blah blah ,,
I have a bra with a Dekra report alles ,,next few days ,,the engine went ,,we buy cars told him after months of fighting ,,sorry we cant do anything
Dekra means niks,,Dekra is corrupted ,they have relationship with the Dekra stations ,money talks,
    Good luck

  16. the amount of cars they sell i 5 persent moan then its a big no but if u bought from owner morev risk and owner mabe selling one car.not all bad not all good but its old cars and new ones

  17. There was a time in the early days when they didn't have Dekra reports. That's where most people's issues come from. I ran away from We Buy Cars in 2018 when I saw how shady they were back then.

  18. I have bought from WeBuyCars previously, and that was fine. Recently I went back to look for something else, and they wouldn't even get the keys so that I can see the inside of the car, without me first doing a finance application and getting pre-approval.

  19. WBC buys all cars and do not choose. So you neeed to remember that. I have bought the following cars from them with Zero issues. Audi A8 with 2 years Freeway plan. Volvo XC90 with 3 years Motorplaan. BMW 730 with no Motorplan. I have never had issues with cars i bought from them. Just remember that that the cars they some will have issues but generally they are honest. What they don’t tell you, they don’t know.
