  1. DON'T BOOK WITH ALMASI!!! SCAMMERS!! I used Almasi Tours based on your recommendation and they stole our money. We wanted to do the Chale Island tour and the guy (from the number on Almasi's website) insisted we pay a 50% deposit of 23 000ksh otherwise he can't confirm our booking. We had to spend our 2nd last night in Diani scrambling to organise the cash and then his friend picked it up from us at a restaurant in Diani where we had to wait for her. Later that night he said that the trip is fully booked and that he will let us know if there is a cancellation and kept saying we must be patient, so messing us around the whole day (our last day in Diani) giving us hope we can still go, so we didn't plan anything else for the last day. When we asked for a refund he said we must wait 7-10 days for cancellation fee as they need to get it from Chale Island, it is 11 days and I am still waiting. Chale Island doesn't know them at all. He blocked me on Whatsapp and he also won't answer my calls. STAY AWAY FROM ALMASI!!

  2. Hello Singh! I'm curious, did you apply for an authorisation to fly your drone in Kenya? I am planning a trip to Kenya and I saw that the tax for flying a drone is very, very high, so I was wondering if I can take the risk to bring it w/o having it. Thanks a lot in advance for sharing your experience! Cezara.

  3. I am at the Diani beach now. My experience is “ not worth” the the efforts making such long trip. The do called “Kongo” river is NOT related to the “Congo” river. It is just shallow waterway where you can stand to fish. At dry season the water is dried up. Really not worth it.

  4. I went to try to hire the bikes to go round and they refused because I am black!! That was the rudest and most racist experience I have ever had in kenya. Ps, am kenyan.

    Lovely video

  5. If you like animals and you knew the cruelties that are used to be forced to walk with people like you behind your back, you would not recommend riding a camel. He is forced beaten and punctured all his life so that you get on for half an hour and enjoy. Get informed first. by the way, that's a dromedary, camels have two humps.

NO more animal cruelty please do not spread these activities

  6. Thanks for this amazing well detailed video!! Considering moved recently to Kenya this is the best video to see.
The perfect guide to the beauty of this country! Much love
