  1. Ive played reading once before, was pleasantly surprised by the course. Didnt know the south had nice courses xd. Please go try out Randpark Ridge Firethorn course. For me its one of the most difficult courses in JHB

  2. Hot damn!! Well done James! Whether it's true or not, it appears you're in a good headspace these days and the on-camera smiles are more frequent than in the past. Stay positive, enjoy your stay in SA, and good luck in the next tourney James.

  3. I was at a Private range session with Tom Watson back in the day and the one question he answered blew me a way,
Some asked when your “on” can you do the same all four days? He said seriously “I’m just glad I know where it’s going for four days” some rounds are just hanging on and some you don’t want to finish, but like Tom said just keep focused on present shot not on the last!

  4. For a minute I thought you were going to say it was a disaster- -3 is ok. Not just progressing the ball from the bad lie on your 17th (a par 5!!!) is an error that didn’t need to happen but keep it going đŸ‘đŸ»

  5. Good show James and as always from the hip and open and honest. Good luck with the rest of the Tour, just get closer to those pins to avoid 3 puts, you know it makes sense!

  6. Well done, !No fear of failure!!!! hat did you do in the first round that as missing in the other two? Aggression, controlled but aggression, holding back wins fxxk all, regards

  7. Well done James.

Work on that mental game mate – you can have your swing for all three days as long as you believe its possible. Get that belief right.

Good luck in the next one and

  8. Love your assessment of the day. Little bit more comfort, little bit of reactive putting and it'll start to be more consistent. Stay mentally positive AND confident. No hesitation or doubt!

  9. I had a melt down playing St Andrews old and new courses this week. Going from swinging the best I ever have to totally losing my swing and feeling like a beginner again, all because of nerves and losing all tempo and timing. Keen for those insights for when you just ain't feeling it but need to limit damage

  10. You identified what separates me as a recreational player from you as a professional— you were able to hold your round together 😊 me on the other hand would have been thinking about a hamburger and fries 😏

  11. We met James on Monday at Royal Johannesburg. True gent, was really nice to meet you and chat. Will be following your content with interest. Don't beat yourself up fella, it's tough out here. Dickie and I struggled putting the last few days. Houghton greens were like glass today. If you get a chance to play Blair Atholl while you're here, you will love it. Good luck. 👍 I'm off to buy a chalk line 😂
