I believe your assessment that this will be a draw is very accurate. I think both teams will be too tight tomorrow. It might even be a 0-0 like what we saw today with Cote D'Ivoire and Morocco today. The game changer could be Atsu IF he plays they way he is capable of. It will be interesting.

Let me break it down Oga, oya now! First of all Ghana (GH) has always had a hard time with North African teams, Egypt and Egyptian teams Al Ahly Zamalek, etc. Remember the Tlemcen disaster that never made the WC see the wizardry of Abedi Pele!
The most notable win in recent years for Gh against Egypt was the the qualifier for the 2014 WC. But even in the return leg Gh lost but won the qualification on aggregate! Gh has most of its goals coming through Gyan and A. Ayew. With Gyan out with injury and Ayew returning from injury GH isnt that sharp on the bite. A good case for replacements to make their case to replace old Gyan. Indeed the middle though lacking Muntari is formidable with Acquah etc. and the back four been together for years. GH recent games havent been very impressive. Although Atsu seem to be getting into his stride lol with a championship side team (Chelsea loanee).
That said Grant isnt really that much of a tactician and i think the Ast coach Konadu and the players have saved him thus far. Can and will they save him again this time? We wait to see. But i see Ghana going in very cautious being content with a draw but will try to hit at goal should the chance be presented especially away from home and await the 2nd leg in GH hopefully with the old man Gyan returning and having had a taste of what to expect from the Pharoahs. Predictions 0-0, 1-1, or Egypt 2 Ghana 1. Best scenario for Gh score first!

me as a ghanian have no confidence in the blackstars. You are right for saying that ghana is missing something. the coach is from the road and the corruption by the FA is to heavy! unfortunatly poltics is involved in ghanian football. I think egypt will win confidently. We need to renew the squad and the System to qualify for 2022

Mali is actually in the AFCON group (which interestingly enough is a near carbon copy of the WCQ group, with Congo swapping places with Mali). I hope for the best for my Pharaohs, but it won't be a walk in the park. We must be consistent and disciplined, especially in defense. If we are, maybe we'll steal the show. Otherwise Ghana will have a field day (probably not on the 6-1 level, but still a bad result)
Also looking forward to seeing a packed stadium in Alexandria, it's been YEAR since we've been able to enjoy that.
Hey HH great video! I am Egyptian and believe Egypt have the best shot in this group. They are hungry, they are motivated and they want that spot in the World Cup. We have Mohammed Salah, elneny, Abdullah and many other good players. Should be a good game but Egypt should leave with 3 points
