  1. white people don't experience racism I can say with first hand experience and if you say otherwise your dumb. Yes you can treat a white person different because they're white but as a race white people don't experience racism and if they did it would be the literal smallest amount possible.

  2. I'm here from WBUR. Great vid, and the ending is really unsettling.

Ironically, I had an experience that felt straight outta the lyrics: trying to Google your stage name without clearly hearing how it was spelled in the interview. "Ner D"? "Nerdy?" "Ner d rap music"? "Ner d hip hop"? Realized I'd have more luck actually finding the NPR piece if I was actually on the NPR website. ssssssssssssssssiiiiiiiiiiiiiiigh, smh

    Lucky to have found you!

  3. This is an incredibly racist song. Perhaps we should reverse the lyrics? White kid😃, black town🙁. Mix in a couple threats of violence and some scene with a scared white person in a room full of blacks clapping and the artist would be arrested.
Can nobody see the double standard here?
This just in, nobody gives a fuck about the colour of your skin…

  4. Nur-D performed for our Reach for the Stars fundraiser a couple years ago! He was amazing and his live band with the brass had so much energy. It was a smashing success and he helped send over 30 inner city youth from Minneapolis to Space Camp for a week! Great Heart! and a wonderful sense of humor. They all wore Star Trek Uniforms!!!

  5. Phenomenal!!! PHENOMENAL!!!!👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 The accuracy in every word is almost venomous!!! You KILLED this!!! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩

  6. I love this song. It’s very confrontational in the topics of white privilege and non-blatant anti-black racism. Thank you for releasing it. 🙌

  7. love this so much! i'm glad you didnt hold back and brought up so many issues that us african americans have to go through, from microaggressions to just blatant racism.
