Not sure if it’s because I've been natural most of my life or the fact that I grew up in NYC, but I never received any negative comments. I also wear makeup for special occasions, & grew up religious. Hmmm, maybe It's the men that like fake everything saying negative things. Because men of all races never had any issues with my hair. Females on the other hand are a topic for another day. Blessings.
