For me, it just ended. Sadly, I wasn't near enough, and the light didn't go down all that far.
WHERE was the moon….? A total eclipse and the moon was “invisible” coming and going….?!
Have we gotten amnesia of the invariable visibility of the waxing and waning moon we’ve seen every single month out ENTIRE LIVES?
Nobody even notices that there was no moon….a heavenly body far too big to be invisible.
Beautiful
Very well done, please find below the unique 1973 eclipse original footage on board of Concorde 001 at Mach 2.05 speed :

It's in French, but you can select English subtitles and :

Only in French but with a spectacular movie on board of Concorde 001
It's a short version.
French made in 1973 a very good job, and it's very informative.
Enjoy !
I was so fortunate to be able to watch it from start to finish since it was the most incredible sight I had ever seen.
It’s very pretty but unfortunately I didn’t get to see it because it was cloudy again In Minnesota now I have to wait to I’m 38 the eclipse hates are state or I’ll probably be dead the next Time It hits Minnesota because I’ll already be dead before 2099

I'm grateful that this is available. I live about thirty miles from Buffalo New York, but there was heavy cloud cover here, so I missed seeing any of it.
Burlington, Canada's Ontario. 3:18 p.m. We were fortunate. Looked fantastic. Everyone, please take care of one another.
very good programme, entertaining and educational, thank you for putting this on YT…seeing people's elation and euphoria makes you realize how special the Sun is for us humans…it transcendends race, creed and nation…it makes you wonder…

I was fortunate enough to view the eclipse from what turned out to be a perfect spot, Hamilton College in central NY. Even though the skies were cloud covered an expanse opened up and I enjoyed a full view of the first contact and subsequent stages until just the corona remained. Very exciting to be a witness to such a celestial event.
