Tinubu and nearly all of the elite are staunchly pro-American ie "pro-West". They don't know anything else. Just look at the media all the talk is about $, £ and Euros. That tells you the fixation with all things Western. Decades of "brainwashing" has certainly taken it's toll on the minds of the people.
Tinubu never visited China or Russia, he always sends his deputy (Kashim Shettima), but he is keen to go to Europe in person for trivial reasons. What kind of message is he sending to BRICS?
Nigeria has already applied to BRICS and the application was turned down. Nigeria is viewed like Argentina ie heavily indebted and strongly "pro-American", as such Nigeria will not be well received in BRICS. BRICS doesn't need Nigeria (despite it's large population).
Another more important reason, is that Nigeria has failed to take the necessary measures ie maximise oil output, utilise it's solid mineral resources wisely and prudently, tackle corruption, insecurity even basic food production and finally the government has failed to act honorable and responsible manner eg threatening Niger Republic with military invasion on a matter that is entirely domestic, this is ludicrous and unwanted.
Who'll goin BRICS? Tinubu or who 😮
