  1. Is what he said happening? Yes! Why are you hidding behind constitution to avoid saying the truth? Is the constitution not What they are using to criminalise the truth? Mr go and sit down.

  2. Why is the guest talking as though he has seen his evidence or confirm Mr. Dele Farotimi has no evidence to prove his case? The right thing is for him to talk little until he sees the facts or evidence Mr. Farotimi has. His reactions and conclusions are counterproductive or against the high moral ground he is claiming should be the case. It is obvious Afe is in collusion with the system thus demonstrated or proven in effect aspect of the corruption Mr. Farotimi is accusing him of. The judiciary in Nigeria is corrupt. Lawyers, politicians and judges, the presidency are corrupting the system. A report titled corruption in Nigeria by National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) in collaboration with the United Nations' Office on Drugs and Crimes speak to the depth of corruption in the judiciary where judges reportedly take cash bribes.

  3. How can Nigeria of our dream manifest when learned people are sounding like this? As we quote this adage, we should also rememberto quote "It is he who doesn't know the king that toys with the king", we should also remember to quote " the truth only needs one day to catch up with lies that have been existing for over 20years.

  4. I wouldn't ordinarily use the words that Farotimi used in his book. He would have his reasons for the usage, as he has the prerogative on that. However, that Jiti Ogunye failed to touch on the various infringements from Lagos to Ekiti bothered me, as I believe these were not inadvertent. The omissions were deliberate, and it is easy to see where his vote and his heart were. He is not an impartial commentator here.

    Afe Babalola & Boni Haruna

Revelations extracted from a leaked U.S. government cable showed that senior lawyer Afe Babalola spent at least $1.125 million on five judges who sat at the Court of Appeal in the early 2000s to procure a favourable judgement for his client, then Adamawa Governor Boni Haruna.
Mr Babalola bribed a panel of five appellate judges led by Justice Pius Olayiwola Aderemi with $225,000 each to restore Mr Haruna to office after an election petitions tribunal sacked him on grounds of electoral malpractice, according to classified U.S. intelligence published by global transparency group, Wikileaks.

  6. This softly speaker lawyer is a pure lawyer of feeding and survival. Not a people's interested or fair justice to the common men on the street. We don't appreciate chop and quench agbajero

  7. Extra judiciary of the security forces well sophisticated armed to effect arrests or kidnap armless suspects citizen. This is quite reminiscent of aggravated torture and violation of fundamental rights.

  8. No matter the weight of the allegation, it is absolutely wrong to use the police to abduct him. We are not fools! He used his influence to use the police in this case.
Under normal circumstances, Dele should be allowed to prove the allegations he made without intimidation.

  9. Instead of many to learn from the expository from the Learned Gentleman, they will come all out to call him names because what he said does not fit their own narratives. Any student of Law or any student of Mass Communication who took Media Law and Ethics as a course, is taught that there are civil libel and criminal libel. Whichever line the plaintiff wants to follow is his own decision. Can many Nigerians who malign people without consequences in the media space do so in a country like the UK?

  10. Who is this guy? You are saying nonsense. May injustice of Nigeria happen to you and your loved ones. The money you were paid will give you pain and grief. I am glad that the book was published. All these oloriburuku baba will not leave this world as heroes. All your evil deeds will be exposed. You wonder how did Nigeria gets here. All the oloriburuku baba that enjoyed the good on the land and spoiled it for us and they will come out to say that they are protecting their legacy. What legacy? Oju ko tiyin. You should look at how the colonial masters handled Nigeria to you and Nigeria is today. Oloriburuku donated money to a first world when the schools in his country are falling apart. Awon baba ofo.

  11. This man said a whole lot of things and eventually said nothing. Nobody knows what evidence Dele Farotimi has or doesnt have? The reason why this should proceed to a civil court where parties can bring there evidence. Putting him in prison is a ploy to intimidate him and punish him, and break him physically. Eni tio moba lon foba shere, meaning there are untouchables. Ths man just confurmed why the old, fat, corrupt and fearfull cargo have destroyed Nigeria and operate with impunity. We need men of courage in Nigeria who will change the status quo, not men who will cower to the so called powerful buffons.

  12. Seun, what is the consequence for Police officers who blatantly flout due process? Should his arrest be upheld or should it be regarded as kidnapping? Should Ekiti police be allowed to put him in prison despite the fact based on an unlawfull arrest? Why should the police not be penalized for not following the law, but citizens are required to follow the law at all times?

  13. but during the retirement of the last CJN or so, what dele farotimi said about the judiciary was mentioned about the judiciary now, so why is this man saying dele farotimi took the judiciary to the cleaners..
