Wow this is amazing. My grandmother cooks a variation of jollof rice. She’s from Arkansas black ppl in America cook a lot of the same things it’s just called something different and we use ingredients Conducive to the land. What’s even crazier is that I found out we descend from the Yoruba tribe in Nigeria. The cultural retention is unbelievable
My imagination let me smell and taste 😆. I try to make one time don't come out nice like yours. I will buy at the Nigerian restaurant. By the way I love your chef skills Phrankleen.

I use red palm oil crayfish tomato pepper purée thyme curry powder in my tomato pepper purée I use either one deseeded habenero or scotch bonnet 1 red bell pepper 1 tomato 1 half onion I tiny piece of ginger and secret weapon with my hubby he hates the smell of fish and he couldn't tell I used crayfish when I do it this way I told him after he ate my jollof spaghetti lol and he is like oh no but he was enjoying so much 😀🇵🇰🇩🇪🇺🇸 he said he isn't a food lover and I say yeah right keep fooling yourself mr first time he talked to me he asked me if I can cook then asked my father's address and went to ask for my hand we have been together for nearly 30 years in Indian and Pakistani cooking garlic is used in cooking lots of dishes including fish
Do you blend the bonnet peppers, frozen red pepper as well as the cherry tomatoes all together at the beginning? Because I didn't see you use the hot peppers and cherry tomatoes separately during cooking the dish.
love the food
