Haha sorry for the tangents I took y’all on with the ghost talk and stuff…but long story short, Avis charged and overdrafted the accounts of my mom, my dad, my brother, my cousin, and my girlfriend’s…the latter of whom is still being charged as we speak, even though I’ve instructed Avis to STOP using her card. And one point I didn’t cross was the maintenance I am entitled to as a customer of Avis. Since the start of my contract in June of 2023, they only paid the bill for ONE oil change. I paid for TWO oil changes and TWO brand new tires out of pocket. The third oil change I held back and was sick of paying for it and Avis caved when I called them and explained to them I went about 40K miles without an oil change.

    I went in Avis today for new brakes on the Outlander I was renting. The rotors were already grinding together and making noise and they still declined me from having it serviced. The tags were due too and they told me to bring the car back and they’d swap me out for another car, which they did.

    My time with Avis was my breaking point with all the other frustrations I have been going through with Uber. I wouldn’t wish this on anyone else, especially when relationships with those in my family are strained because some scammy ass company took advantage of the good intentions of people who were kind enough to help me out.

  2. @1:45 speaking of scams… what about Uber's so called "Safe Ride" wherein, your passenger doesn't do an add stop but since they're nice in asking, and they also tip you because their app won't allow them to add a stop, both driver and rider get a message from Uber that asks if you're both ok ? You both say yes on the app and then the driver gets a notification that the driver has a voicemail from area code 415. We know that the area code is San Francisco. So I play back the voicemail from Uber so my rider can hear it, too. The voicemail says, "Thank you for calling Uber Support. To speak to an agent, please press 1." Nobody called Uber Support. We both said we're ok. But EVERYTIME, and I mean EVERYTIME I get a "safety" check, I always get a STUPID VOICEMAIL that has nothing to do with SAFETY, and even if it did, there is no way in a freaking VOICEMAIL to press 1 and get to anybody!
    Keep it simple silly…. or

    You can't make this SHIT UP!
    Uber's algorithm and support techs and ceo and corporation do not care about either driver or rider's safety. That's why we must care about each other. Period.

    You know that sometimes we get those strange/rare uber eats requests that pay like $35 for just a couple miles and when you go to the drive through they tell you “ oh with you is the fourth driver that come for the same order.. someone already took it “…
    And what do we do, cancel and don’t get nothing or if you want to waste uber unsupport you might get only like $3 for driving to the restaurant

    But i said to my self “this time i am not going to let them play me.. i will get those $35 bucks my way”.

    Sure, i got to the drive through just to hear that i was the third driver coming for that order and and they couldn’t do the order because the shake machine wasn’t working ( the order was for a $4.99 shake)
    WHAT DO I DID???
    I went to the other del taco restaurant a couple miles away and I paid myself… delivered the order( 2 miles) and got my $35 mines $6.. I pocket $29

    They want a shake… A SHAKE WAS DELIVERED!!!!!!😂😂😂😂😂😂

  4. Jeff remember when I mentioned about law enforcements doing stings on drivers who are doing rides well the professor just put out a video about it. Uber and Lyft are cracking down.

Great stream caught you delayed but most times I’m asleep when you are on I usually have early morning rides I roll out of bed about 3am to start my day it’s the best time for me because no one wants to get up that early and by time they get in I’ve already done what they make all day in a 5 hour day 😂😂

  6. Here’s one where Uber will get you all the time. $14 reserved ride, 3 miles. Rider changes the destination after you start to another restaurant, now 11 miles away. No change to the fare for the driver but the rider pays 3x the original.

    I’ve had it happen with surge too. $17 for 2 miles, rider adds a stop and 3 miles, no fare increase. The rider said their price doubled.

    This is how Uber can be profitable whilst being a inefficient and terribly run company. They are complete failures, they completely lack creativity to grow a company the right way, so they just f¥€k everybody.

  7. Ha I just got an email from lyft for poor pax experience. They said I'm asking pax to cancel when i was canceling on them! Lyft got jokes😂😂😂

  8. St pattys day weekend this week tho! And asu just came back yesterday so its also their first weekend back from break. Should be good surges on short rides friday-sunday.

  9. I just orders Donna's anti- ageing cream… just got a private client drive them to the local walmarts on the 1st and third of each month 80 dollars each ( 160) then pick them up 3 hours and take thrm home..

  10. Its true what are they hiding/stealing. I got a random $30 "misc adjustment" other day. Idk what that refund was for. Props for giving me something I didnt know I lost, but we know theres way more.. they wont say hey it was a lost tip or surge. They just throw a bone once in a while. And I caught lyft ride switching me even though I have ride switches turned off.
