  1. Why the bad rap with red meat ? It actually is good for you and should be a regular part of people’s diet . Meat also makes you less hungry in turn avoiding fatty snacks . Doctors have it all fucked up in the USA . Only us too . Other countries eat healthy , Asia , Mediterranean, Middle East , shoot even Latin America they eat their naturally cultural diets and don’t have diabetes , heart disease and cancer as much as us

  2. One thing I just cannot find in the US that people don't talk about is good apple juice. The stuff you find in the stores is very watered down, bland, and barely tastes like apple. Whenever I travel out of the country, apple juice is one of the things I'm excited to try.

  3. When I moved to a city with international supermarkets and got a costco membership for meat my diet got so much better. All the American chains like wal mart and Kroger are all full of the same junk. You don't have to go to Whole Foods but I buy a lot of stuff at mexican and asian stores. Learn recipes from other countries. All the big chains here push hot dogs, hamburgers, pizza and frozen foods every day and run sales on the same bulk crap that they get good deals on.

  4. People are brainwashed … it’s the best thing that could ever happen for the pharmaceutical companies cause it’s big $$$. The Standard American gives you diabetes and big Pharma is cashing in .
The ketogenic diet, Ketovore diet . Carnivore diet, and the lion diet, will all cure adult onset diabetes, diabetes 2.
The standard American diet tells you that seed oils like…soy bean oil, canola oil, corn oil, peanut oil, vegetable oils are healthy oils. when they are toxic oils, manufactured poisons. Cheap oils .
Avocado oil, coconut oil, and real extra-virgin cold pressed olive oil are the healthiest ones for you …the government recommends you to have 5 to 6 servings of carbohydrates, and I can’t remember how many servings of fruit. No wonder why America has an obesity epidemic. Highly processed foods ..all garbage.
Watch dr. Ken Berry, he’s great !

  5. The Carb-to-Protein ratio in the average American diet is super wonked too. Everywhere you look it's carbs, refined sugar and transfats. Doesn't help that it's one of the cheaper food options too. The fact that you have to actually put in a little effort in order to eat healthy in this country is kinda nuts.

  6. you know what? Its well deserved, suits well the ones that know everything… how many time decade after decade outsiders told this arrogant people to change their ways, that the current food pyramid is wrong and fastfood is poision… now they drawn in foodrelated health issues. like the fish, americans are dying by their mouth.

  7. I've cooked from scratch for the last 53 years. That crap they try to pass off as food is 🤮 poison. I use butter and olive oil and avocado oil for my cooking. Yes, it takes time and effort, but aren't you worth it

  8. One thing I should mention about the Japanese diet is their regular consumption of sugar(white rice, ramen, udon, rice cake, etc) and soy-based food, which contributes to type 2 diabetes. Also, the Japanese only started to consume meat after 1872 with the introduction of Western cuisine, hence they have weak teeth and smaller figures.

  9. I can eat the same shit I.e. burgers, spaghetti, chicken all ways etc whatever but from the store and cooked myself, and have no problems. The second I eat the same thing but take out or fast food or whatever….boom I’m a mess. My burger I can eat 2 large Pattie’s no probs. One whopper I’m done for 2 days bloated and crappy

  10. The only thing I disagree with Joe here is him vilifying brown rice. Brown rice is a whole grain, contains more fiber than white rice, and it doesn't spike the blood sugar nearly as high as white rice does. On the other hand white rice has a slightly better nutrient profile than brown rice. Both types have advantages that outweigh their drawbacks, and are fine to be consumed in moderation.

  11. When I think about bacon and eggs and butter just think about this. If it’s not that bad for you – look what an over easy egg yolk does after breakfast stuck on the plate. Fat sticks to everything. It seems like it would make sense that it’s not the best think to take in, but who knows for sure – not me. Everyone says something different. Even the “experts”.
