  1. People need to acknowledge that living in the Mediterranean has at least two advantages over living in the U.S. – Universal Healthcare, and clean food/air/water and soil. They don't have as many chemicals and toxins in their food.

  2. In the mediterranean diet, meat (including red meat) is an essential part of the diet. I know because I am Mediterrranean and have been eating this diet all my life. The amount of desinformation you see on TV is astounding. The plant based people try to lie to you and pretend that Mediterraneans eat meat only once or twice a year. Not true, meat is eaten every week. Dont beleive these people.
