  1. I am American and I have never seen rice cooked in an oven….always stovetop. Also, too much grease. There's other errors but I can't.

    My mother in law's jollof rice never looks like that. She is Nigerian. I will get her recipe.

  2. I am not Nigerian or know what Jollof rice is. But whatever he cooked does not look right. He said @ 3:19 he added so much oil so at the end the each individual rice is coated and separates. The rice he got at the end does not look separated. In fact it looks sticky almost to the consistency of a semi-porridge. Probably tastes fantastic, but if that much oil did not separate the rice, what's the point of using so much of it? Anyone with knowledge please explain.

  3. I’m not African so I was curious to try it. I even ordered the powdered shrimp/crawfish on Amazon. That was a mistake. I intensely disliked the after taste that it left in my mouth. I’m an adventurous eater but This was definitively not for me
