  1. My favorite empire ever! Thank you so much for making us understand more about the history of this empire without us having to read a bunch texts! A W for yout content as always!

  2. There is a book in Georgia which describes life and historical events time of George I and it says that George i was very ambitious and not so good person. Yes he wanted Georgian lands back but every time Georgia and Greeks conflict each other that was big mistake, we did not see real enemy coming from the central Asia region

  3. 😊This is another Greek myth and legend. Just imagine, 15000 soldiers, that's a whole army, standing calmly, against the people who blind them!!! Do you seriously believe in these fantasies!!! And as a bonus, Vasily, he gives titles and land of the Bulgarian royal court!!! 🙂 Come on.

  4. I kinda wish that Lichdom was a real thing and Basil the I could have become a Lich Emperor and invaded Sicily. That would be so cool and he then would raise undead troops. It would be glorious and of course a new contingent of Necromancers within his Church Priesthood. The Egyptian Necromancers would be jealous.

  5. for the last time before I put this channel on ignore: the Byzantine Empire is NOT the Roman Empire in any way, shape or form.
The Roman Empire fell when the city of Rome fell to the northern barbarians. What happened in the east was something else. A Greek mini-empire, but by no means Roman.
