  1. Indeed, it is a youthquake and we thank the Almighty for such political transition on our beautiful and rich continent of Africa. It is high time that particularly our youth but also others are given due respect and dignity in their own countries to which they also belong. Thank you very much Sonko and Faye for an excellent demonstration of convicción, dedicación and love. May you administer Senegal with the same spirit that drove you into politics on the first place. May God continue to protect, guide and bless you 🙏.

  2. But watch out—- these "young leaders" may get corrupted too once they are in power. Keep close watch—- if they are getting corrupted , stop them and throw them out.

  3. Fearless youthful pan Afrikan leadership are our heroes and the elders should play their play role to avoid these youth being myrtired by the imperialism in the same way they killed the likes of Thomas Sankara

  4. Leaders who are young and vibrant have much more energy, they are usually more educated and they understand the world around them. They are willing and able to negotiate with the west and hold their own. They are not afraid of threats and will challenge the narrative of the west and demand respect. The old, tired leaders are totally colonized and are afraid of challenging the west. We need more young leaders.

  5. Senegal, Gambia, Niger, Chad, Burkinafaso 1st of all should boycott French Language itself and ensure no one speak french in their countries anymore.

  6. These OLD OLD African leaders can't cope with the pressures of governance often become PUPPETS to the West. And very CORRUPT. THEY MUST ALL STEP DOWN. They're part of African problems

  7. The electral commission team of Senegal thank you for announcing the true presidential results in
    Senegal an African country

    Most African countries
Electral commissions do not announce true presidential results 😮😮😮

  8. Kick out the French companies and use the country's mineral wealth to help life the working poor into a better life mark my words France and USA won't take his presidency lying down I expect eventually smearing then cia riots and division between local Senegalese please don't let American or French meddlers to turn around the people's madate

  9. I agree with the new leaders as long as they do not listen or allow the other races to continue colonize the content. Our people have starved and been raked over for the richest and resources too long. Make a difference or step aside.

  10. Let the young people rise up to leadership providing they are true Africans and are serious to return our mothers and fathers land back to us Africans . Those that drink up the old wine have no place for the new

  11. God has allowed me to witness one of the pivotal change in Africa.
    This is a historical shift.
It will bring political, economic and drastic social shift. Let's wait to see if African unity may be achieved within a decade from now.

  12. President Faye is NOT the first leader from the so-called Francophone countries(still under the yoke of French colonialism) that have made election promises about ending France's abuse and stranglehold over their country. If he is bold and courageous like the leaders from BURKINA FASO, MALI and NIGER (the NEW STANDARD for AFRIKAN LEADERSHIP) he will do the right thing if NOT he will seal his fate in history as another compromizer that have betrayed his people and the continent of Afrika.

  13. BURKINA FASO, MALI & NIGER have raised the bar for LEADERSHIP in Afrika going FORWARD-they are the STANDARD to JUDGE any new leader (elected or not) to see if they are really serious about getting the foot of their historical oppressors from off their neck. People are NOT what they promise or say to people-people are what they do. President Faye has TWO years to prove that he is a bonafide leader who is committed to put to an end FRANCE stranglehold over Senegal like what his counterparts in Burkina Faso, Mali and Niger have done. We will NOT be accepting any excuse from him because MALI, BURKINA FASO and NIGER have serious economic challenges and they have done the right thing to put to an end FRANCE's exploitation of their country and have established new relationships with other POWERS that are in their BEST interest.

  14. Time will tell if President Faye is just talk and a womanizer (a reincarnation of ZUMA from South Afrika) OR he is SERIOUS about bringing to an end France's EXPLOITATION of his country and tackling CORRUPTION like what the leaders of BURKINA FASO, MALI and NIGER have done. People are NOT what they promise or say to people-people are what they do.

  15. The elder generation of leadership in Africa is in some ways similar to the so-called elderly black "leaders" in the United States that are stuck in the past and want to get paid to die comfortable. Away with that!!!

  16. I dont know this guy, he may be genuine, but be careful, So many so called african leaders have been prepared by colonial powered by been put in prison to boost their popularity and trick the masses .

  17. This is the new dawn for Africa. We are seeing the rise of Africa with our young leaders and not the old heads that was schooled by the west. We will get the Africa we want. With these young leaders we will unite the continent. We are looking to have the world at our feet very soon. The world is getting afarid because we are going to correct the world for all what they do wrong to Africa. The young leaders won't take any bribes. Long live Africa.

  18. Let's be clear, one was democratically, genuinely elected, the other came to power by the power of the gun. There's a vast difference between how each of them ascended leadership. Don't insult our intelligence.

  19. Those afraid that the new generation of leaders will fail, should not be so pessimistic, these guys have enormous pressure to meet the expectations of the unemployed youths in Africa while they keep away the neo colonial forces from toppling them, then the difference between now and the sixties is Russia and China are strong, so the anglo American corporations and their agents cannot easily remove the young leaders, the world is not reliant on propaganda media for information, so it's harder to do things in the dark. Viva Africa .

  20. The Diaspora is watching…. yes , I am encouraged with the youth of Africa. They have a good idea of what true change should look like. Now all they need is unity with other like minded "young" leaders.
