  1. Same thing happened to me in 2017. I once dated a close family friend whom I have known since I’ve been a child. Apparently the relationship broke down due to my parents wanting me to marry a fellow Pastors daughter. Another reason was also bcos my dad and the dad of this lady had some beef that was never reconciled and based on that I was not allowed to proceed with a relationship that was blossoming. Fast forward later, I found out that the lady whom my parents tried to impose on me twice after scattering two of my relationships was sleeping with her married boss. Right now am in another complicated predicament which I will have to send via email.

  2. I’m 32 and just realised what was wrong with my mother all along …. She is a covert narcissist who hates me wants to use me and sees as her property …. Truth is I tried untill my late 20 s , thank God I left the country where I self actualised , by the time I came back I had changed . Now she has completely rejected me but I do not care . My emotional ties have been cut . We , African children are cursed with the most terrible selfish hateful parents

  3. Watching this play back and your analysis was spot on as usual. I have never been able to understand why parents do this to their children. Anyways, hopefully one day this trend will change.

  4. I’m really interested in this Ifa divination. I’m curious to know some things. However, as a
    “supposed” I grew up a Christian so…..
It’s fear that’s doing me because Christianity preaches against it. But my curiosity ooo 😅.

  5. Parents choosing life partners for people, who is supposed to be living with this life partners they choosing? How sure are you when you choosing anything for anyone? There is a marriage that lasted two years because someone made that choice for them.please Africans let's change our ways of doing things.

  6. Since I been dealing with ifa I’ve seen a lot of positivity but I do believe my babalawo might be tapping into something as financially it’s not as good as when I started

  7. I have seen this so many times In West Africa and sometimes many years into the marriage they don’t even talk to each other but pretend they are happily married and you can see this in the functions they attend. This is also the case in Western countries.

  8. Thank you for touching on some of the most important topics in our culture. Critical and strategic thinking are one of the areas we certainly lack. A lot of people don't necessarily get jobs they have trained for because they are unable to demonstrate these skills required. In the west, a lot of kids start to challenge as soon as they can demonstrate any form of communication. We also need to learn to sit back and critique ourselves too. When something doesn't go right we should review what we did and how we think we can rectify it rather than always blaming someone else. be it the government, racism… or whatever we can think of.
I hope people are not just listening to vlogs like these but are also thinking about it afterwards.
