  2. The cholesterol tests worth paying attention to are: lipoprotein a (called “L P little a”) and APO B. Look them up, and ask your dr for those blood tests. Look up the real optimal numbers, not what the test results show as “normal”. Normal is not necessarily healthy.

  5. I recently had a physical and lab work done. My doctor messaged me to let me know that my cholesterol is high. (286) to be exact. Scary! Besides the medication I was prescribed to take, I'm looking to eating healthier, as well as foods that naturally lower my cholesterol.
