  1. With only a few casualties it seems that Australians are taking the dangers seriously. Some Americans would be out driving through flood waters or other reckless activities that put their lives in danger.

  2. Is it possible to make some wells that rain goes under ground to be saved as 'under ground water' or be lead to some big reservoir to supply to houses or save for later or be sold to the countries in need of water, or move rain clouds to dry bushes or cities?

  3. One thing we Aussies do well is natural disasters. Hot dam it was wet Thursday & Friday! Sun was out for the weekend. Was planning to go for a bush walk Sunday in Lane cove national Park but the park was closed due to flooding. Stay safe peeps!

  4. Speaking as someone who lives in a town down-stream from Warragamba Dam, the government has known for years, that the Dam has to be modified to allow incremental spills when the level gets too high. As it is, when it reaches near the top, the flood-gates open and floods happen downstream. They need to raise the Dam level or modify it but they won't spend the money. Because of Climate Change, these flood events are now regular when they were rare in the past.

  5. I live in Sydney but not in a flood-prone area. The rain the other night was the heaviest I can recall experiencing in this city. It was so heavy and loud it kept waking me throughout the night. It’s been sunny today, though.

  6. Very little rain here in Melbourne, in south-eastern Australia. Please be careful about generalising. Australia is a huge country with a variety of climates. It can be 32 degrees and humid in Darwin, mid-20s and raining in Sydney, and 17 deg in Hobart, all at the same time 😊

  7. They just don’t learn DON’T DRIVE THROUGH FLOOD WATER.💦 most of the rescues were people driving through water over roads.🤔🙃 Putting other people’s lives in danger.

  8. 57 year old aussie here. This use to be called weather back in the 70s -80s. Now its 'Run for the Hills' time. Floods have and always will happen. And so will fires. " Land of Drought and Flooding rain"

  9. I had 4 submersible pumps on full capacity to divert flooding from my farm house in the Hunter Valley. The storm literally came from nowhere. I was knee deep within 10 minutes!
    I was in the local town shopping and as I pulled up to my main gate, all hell broke loose! Today, it’s as if it very happened, blue skies and warm sunshine

  10. Gaslightting Australian Government still push climate change propaganda through federal funded ABC media and BOM weather forecasters, stating Australia having drier to drought conditions.

  11. Well, in addition to climate change, in 2022, the Tonga volcano eruption sent enormous amounts of water vapour into the stratosphere, which scientists say could impact parts of Australia for up to 8 years.

    For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

    Rom 6:23
    For the wages of sin is death;

    The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God.

    Acts 8:37
    And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.

    Rom 10:9
    That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

    Corinthians 15:3-4
    For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

    Ephesians 2:8-9
    For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.

  13. Sydney should look to Singapore as an example. Singapore turned their CBD Marina Bay area into their largest freshwater reservoir by building a barrage to separate the sea from the river. Sydney harbor can also do the same

  14. For years now, decades even, the environmentalist lunatics have screamed climate change and we will have perpetual drought. The degenerate government listened to these morons and started changing city/urban planning to open up more land… on 100 year floodplains. Then they started taxing us on climate change and making our lives hell with all the BS renewable energy crap. You reap what you sow!
