  2. I’m lactose intolerant and use a probiotic with several lactase strains once a day which provides all day tolerance for the 12-16 ounces of 1% organic milk I drink daily in my chai tea.

  4. Hey Doc. Thanks for all your content. My question is merely a personal observation. If milk is good for you, why are we the only mammal on the planet that 1- drinks milk from other animals and 2- drink milk past a certain point in our growth? I personally do not drink milk but I do eat cheese.

  5. I make kefir make from raw milk. I drink 2, 1/2 gallons every two weeks. This was different from my history with milk. I did not drink milk for over 30 years until recently. I boost my probiotics with kefir.

  6. I drink sheep milk, goat milk and grass fed cow milk in moderation. Pasteurized, but with natural fat, to get more vitamins out of it. Sheep milk is even more nutritious than cow milk, you just have to get used to the different taste.

  7. Děkuji.
    Sdílím.
    Ať se daří 😉

PS: A pak je tady ještě jedna otázka.
    Proč Bůh stvořil krávy…?
Proč kráva dává mléko, i když nemá mladé…?
Že by byl nějaký omyl Stvořitele….? 😉
    Bůh Ti žehnej!

  8. Yea middle aged now and used to consume considerable amounts of milk especially while eating cereals and also with tea…but nowadays don’t eat cereal and drink green teas..no milk anymore…it wasn’t a decision it was just my preferences..I eat hard cheeses in moderation…no health or digestive concerns whatsoever…and I’m very active…make of that what you will

  9. A well rounded discussion on milk! Enjoyed it! Seems like colder countries have better lactose tolerance, maybe northern Asia as well. I heard cold winters won’t ferment the milk as much with bacteria, so the lactose survives and it’s only over the last 1000 years that some humans in northern lands have developed this lactose tolerance. Still, I think the fermented greek yoghurt with much less sugar in a warmer country is healthier!

  10. I love milk, but I don't have a car to go find a small dairy farm, so getting raw milk is next to impossible. So, what milk I do get is the pasteurized milk at the grocery store

Being a type 2 diabetic, means that fruit juice will cause a spike in my blood sugar, not as bad as the spike I get from rice but bad enough for me to stongly prefer coffee, tea, or milk.

  11. I find that regular pasteurized milk does give me lactose intolerance symptoms but that ULTRA pasteurized products as well as fermented products don’t…so…sometimes more processing may be a good thing for some people.

  12. Goodonya, balanced, imo. in Australia we were told for years, things go better with coke. There are many who say overheating, including pasturizing kills a lot of the goodness in natural products. We need natural, unadulterated food n we need farmers big time .We need our food made in nature not factories, apparently in one country the cows live in multi story units, I imagine the lifts could get a little uncomfortable, especially with those toxic gases, haha

  13. A top cardiologist I knew said "nothing good comes from a cow." He went on to elaborate on why. Also said it's a struggle to cut it out of your diet. His and his wife's families are multi generational dairy and cattle ranchers. He also said he had never had a heart attack patient who was vegan.

  14. Since 2018 I've been going to a local organic dairy farm and purchasing 4 gallons of raw milk per week. I am the sole consumer of all that milk. I drink it and mostly make yogurt with it because I love yogurt, but I've also made butter and cheese as well. I know from extensive talking with the owners who have become friends, and being allowed to wander the barn and fields, that organic dairies don't feed corn, only organic hay. They are treated with herbs and herbal medicines and antibiotics when needed but that cow is pulled from production for a standard period of time until that medicine is gone from their system. They aren't on it regularly or frequently. I also have a friend with a dairy that isn't organic and I do buy milk from her as well. Both milks are delicious and I believe responsible for my extraordinary good health at almost 70 years old. You couldn't pay me to give up my raw, unpasturiezed milk. Commercially raised, processed milk though, like any processed food, isn't worth purchasing or consuming.

  15. Calcium actually acidifies the body and leeches calcium out of the bones as the body tries to neutralize the acid. It’s actually not good for bone health.
In terms of disease, yes, it does contribute to cancer and other diseases. Also, research molecular mimicry.

  16. Great report. Any comment on Neu5Gc in milk? I don't drink cow milk much today but I do have kefir and bio-yoghurt from cows and also eat a moderate amount of cheese, where my preference is for sheep or goat cheese.

  17. I dropped cow's millk, and only use Keifer goat's milk now. The cow's milk molecule is too large for our digestion! Huge improvement to my gut biome. I will still eat hard cheeses, and cottage cheese! 😛

  18. I LOVE MILK. I'm a little weird because I don't drink whole milk only 1 percent but I use whole cream for my coffee… lots of cheese, cottage cheese, sour cream…Mom says it's my Hungarian heritage. Who knows!! Great video!

  19. Interesting that you delving into this topic. You have not mentioned IGF-1, mastitis or even considered the welfare of the cow that is tortured into having a calf every 9-10 months. Whilst all of us fantasize about pasture fed cows, the reality is very different. As for the Omega 3 you kind of mentioned it, however, that comes from supplementation, the cow does not produce it, I rather get my sources of protein, B12 and omega 3 closer to the source, than having to torture and enslave (look up the plight of the farmers trapped in the dairy and meat industry) a large part of the planet.
About the passive aggressive segment about almond milk, it only has about 1% of almonds in it. If someone leaves milk it is either because they could never stomach it (the smell of hot or boiling milk makes me want to throw up) or for ethical reasons. It does not mean they would go running to the shops to pick up an alternative. Just like people think if people turn vegan their fridge is full of those ghastly Impossible/Beyond Burgers.
About Calcium, the jury is really out. The more calcium we consume the less the absorption rate. So I rather get these from plant sources whilst watching my oxalates. Again, easy to do and reduces so much suffering. The calcium absorption mechanism is really not 100% understood, so just drinking milk with all it's hormones that are made for a bovine baby calf to grow is really unknown.

  20. I don't drink milk, because I don't like it. In school, some 70 years ago, we got a daily portion of delicious milk, with a rich collar of fat on top, served at room temperature. The beverage that is called milk nowadays has little to do with real milk and drinking at fridge temperature kill most of the taste.

  21. What about CHEESE? Dr. Mercola just had an article today stating that the substance that they use to curdle the cheese, is GMO and unhealthy. Seems nothing is safe anymore!
Thanks for your great video content!

  22. I do not drink milk. My mother said she could never get me to drink it. Makes me want to vomit to try to drink a glass of milk. I do however eat ice cream, pudding, cheese. When I was pregnant, I told the GYN I couldn’t drink milk. He said I did not need to drink milk as I ate plenty of foods that contained calcium. My son was 8 lbs 4 oz at birth and grew to 6’ tall. He is not a big milk drinker. I am 71 and 5’6 1/2. Do not have osteoporosis.
