Is the potato-only diet as effective as gastric bypass surgeryg?
can't with those two clowns…
Honestly, even if it were an "easy way out," who cares? This kind of thing is a last-ditch attempt to improve someone's quality of life or even save their life. No one should be shamed for not wanting to die.
Absolutely the easy way out, you are stripped of your appetite and food capacity, basically removing the "will power" or discipline factor, weak willed fatsos who cant put the fork down wanna be called strong, well guess what buddy if you were strong you wouldnt be such a fatass in the first place.
Bypass is the best
It's definitely NOT the easy way out. Just to get approved takes months of all kinds of appointments, documentation, & seeing different people (psychologist, Nutritionist, Primary Care Provider & so forth) to even get the surgery! You have to jump through what feels like endless hoops, just so your insurance will cover it. AND THEN when you finally get approved, and your journey starts, you still have to diet & workout! The surgery helps, but it's not gonna work nearly as good (and it will not last long) if you fall back into crappy habits. Your surgery will have been for NOTHING, if you stretch your stomach back out, over-eating! And not eating healthy!
So Im glad this doctor mentioned it's not an easy way out. The whole process is a pain in the @SS, and you have to be willing to forever change how you eat.
Not to mention the emotional & mental toll it takes on you, afterwards, when the surgery is done! You cant eat like before. Not just cuz you might throw up, due to a small stomach.
But you see everyone else around you (at home, family) eating badly! They pig out on junk, with zero regard for you. Making you crave the junk they get to have… But you can't! It takes willpower!
She didn’t answer the question
Definitely not a quick or easy fix. The amazing tool it is to helping people lose and maintain weight is amazing, life changing.
None, it will kill you
I mean you could save a shit load of money just going to the gym instead of surgery to lose weight
Not true
Crazy how these two got fired!! 😂
I am 12 years out, Gastric bypass!
I can’t wait to get my vsg surgery done soon ❤
Thank you, Dr Ashton for saying it's not a "quick fix" or the "easy way out"! It certainly is NOT easy, all the weight doesnt just fall off…one still has to eat right and exercise to even lose the weight, and it still takes a LIFETIME of changed eating habits and regular exercising to even keep or maintain.
Gastric sleeve changed my life for the better
Seriously, Stomach Stapling promoted before health eating and exercise?
