My mom , a hardcore Democrat, had subscribed to the NYT for over decade. Always on the front steps with the bottled milk.
Sometime in 2017-18, I remember it not coming anymore.
Though she hated the Clinton's deeply, she always voted for our states Democrats.

Communist ideology has been in the U.S. for many decades but they never really get far with it. Even the Weather Underground was unable to make any real change and they are the only ones who declared war on the U.S. government and bombed the pentagon and capitol.

The "Gray Lady" has been a seething, bubbling cauldron of intellectual fraud and malignant propaganda for many decades. Since people can find international news by searching the internet that the NYT has lost news stand purchases, subscribers, free copies being distributed… So much so that their Advertising revenues have PLUMMETED.
They have lost so much income they reportedly have had to lay off NINETY percent of the staff they employed as of year 2000. Although they have hired a number of replacement writers, a few of those were spectacular DISASTERS. Two in particular had become widely celebrated for their series of interviews with New York City residents, but the interviews and information and quotes were revealed to have been FABRICATED.
If I recall correctly one of the writers had been considered for a Pulitzer prize, and was fired rather ignominiously. Don't know if either of the two ex-NYT writers has pursued a career in FICTION…
Seems being shown as an immoral lying scum is more of a Career BOOSTER for a certain political orientation in this time. Maybe they were insufficiently leftist in their P.O.V.
