Beef and chicken have definitely come down in price. I pay about $5.99 for a pound of grass-fed/finished beef. The best of the best. Things that I have seen gone up is fruit, veggies, and coffee. That's it.

prices in canada go up the further north you go. In the north (mostly Indigenous) the prices are often quadruple and more what it is in the south. The first video was clearly from the south because some of those foods aren't even available up north. Actually up north there is a government supported monopoly and only one grocery chain available

I thought the cost of living in my country (Kenya) is insane. I was wrong, Canada is worse. Wikth 210 dollars, I coulod apy my rent, wifi, buy food that could go for months, braid my hair, go to the spa and still save some money

😂😂😂 the woman at minute 7:00 talking about fasting was soooo funny for that commentary… Yet, not outta line AT ALL!!… I started regular fasting for many reasons, and it DID reduce my grocery bill (AND got closer to GOD 😊) so, Win-Win! 🎉
You have to shop around. I think fast food prices are high and will continue to go up so you need to start getting used to not going there.
On some of these groceries lists are some things that do not relate to what they're calling BASIC NEEDS.
The entitlement. Why doesnt she buy on sale? I was just in Toronto at a No Frills and didnt think the prices were crazy. I live in Montreal and the prices arent crazy here either. If youre going to shop at bougie health food stores, then yes, youre going to pay more. Thats been true for decades. 🙄

There are stores that you can find in your state that have good prices, as well as bargains. One of the things that I always do is I look for the discount area. The discount area has great markdowns, as well as items that might be close to expiration, but still within the time frame for usage. There are many stores that you can find. Start clipping coupons, and buying bulk. There are ways you can save.
I’m not even complaining because I still shopping the same and haven’t noticed anything different. I only buy sale items this is why. Habit I picked up from being poor.

If you would actually struggle with money, you would shop sells and dont buy so much premade stuff.
Key is plan your shopping ahead. Dont buy dishwasher tabs when you used the last one and pay 36 bucks every time. Get them when they are on sale for like 13-14 bucks and buy more than one bag. You can get like 3 and be fine for a year .

If you pay 70 bucks for a bottle oil or other expensive stuff, you arent really struggling. You are just wasteful with your money and want to whine because you are bitter about life in general.

In my country prices wenr up too during thw pandemic and rhe aftermath , then it went down again.
And got lower again.

Why would the first girl buy so much tea… Tea is imported and would most definitely be expensive. Also the more you buy processed the more expensive it gets. Buy raw vegetables and spices and cook your food.
