Revitalization efforts continue near north end of Las Vegas Strip, downtown area

The City of Las Vegas is always expanding, but some areas could use a little more TLC than others.

  1. The only way we will win next election is to keep borders open to make migrants voters. It doesnt matter if they are straight out of prison from their country. Nevada has been a sanctuary state for years the teamsters make sure of that. Vote #631

  2. Not naked city, it is Bum city. Tons of bums every where, attracted to the free food only blocks away, offered up at catholic charities. Also poor people housing. Want to "re-vitalize"? shut down the charity free food for bums. Tear down the poor people housing, and re-develope.

  3. “Nah I don’t know nu… wait $42k?? Oh yeah cuhhh they got 9’s, Aks, bombs!!! And tanks n shiiiit! All dat they hella strapped Lee” that’s all I woulda said

  4. The one major problem of atomic golf, it faces west. That means people are going to be hitting the ball with the sun in their eyes during sunset, in the middle of summer. Good luck with that.

  5. Revitalizing Naked City, yeah, good luck with that.
When I was a teenager I used to buy drugs in that neighborhood, pot, mushrooms and LSD, the good fun drugs.
Nowadays I’m guessing the only drugs you’ll find in that neighborhood are the bad drugs, meth and prescription meds.

  6. About 8-9 years ago, I lived in Naked City for a couple of years at the Boston Gardens apartments when I was going through a tough financial circumstance. Terrible studio apartments (they're essentially brick ovens with no central A/C & wall mounted fans that don't much in 110 degree heat) with roach problems. But for $495/month, quick access to the Strip, & the new Stupak Recreation center right behind my apartment that I used extensively to weightlift & run some b-ball in, I made the most of it. There was 1 murder in NC that I knew of at that time. It would actually be a great idea to revitalize the area by tearing down the old & unsanitary apartments there & replacing them with modern affordable units. But perhaps they should also gut everything all together, go upscale, & take influence from what they've done at Symphony Park. The entire NC neighborhood needs a refresh, given it's prime location.
