Interesting conversation…I LOVE Joselyn… I understand that this was about single motherhood but there was quite a bit of man-bashing. I didn't hear anyone take responsibility for their actions. Relationships do break down but it seems like the man is always to blame…I'm sure women do screw up too. Someone said you want the man to love you more and you don't feel the need to equally love them back because you did that in past, really?? What kind of deal is that? From the jump you want the next guy to pay for someone else's sins? Would you take that deal?
Regarding submissive women….there's a difference between being submissively respectful and being submissively meek & weak.
Personally, I do appreciate a strong respectful woman (but not a sassy blow horn), I don't want anything to do with a meek weak woman. I want a "woman" I can emotionally, intellectually, physically and spiritually vibe with. If you can not openly communicate, explore and grow with your partner in all those areas then sooner or later the relationship is doomed because you are simply leaving some much empty space for someone else to fill in.
Maybe you should consider having a show about single fathers or better yet a show with both single mothers and fathers at the same time.
