Tunisian Mint Tea with Pine Nuts

Drinking mint tea is a Maghrebi (Tunisian, Moroccan, and Algerian) tradition. Every country, region, and home does it differently. In this video, I show my way of making the Tunisian version with pine nuts. I hope you enjoy this video, and I hope I was able to share a certain mood and feel that comes with the North African tea ceremony.

  1. Me and my family always got served this mint tea whenever we entered a place with a host. For example, a carpet seller's place. It tasted really good and I loved it as a young boy.

However, I tried making this tea with some kind of dried mint. But it doesn't quite taste the same, sadly enough.
