What happens to the men who can’t get a wife? The math doesn’t work if 50% of the population is male and 50% female.
Well if he can bring second wife, I will bring second husband
Here once a mother becomes her own son's husband
Something about this reduces women to property – especially the fathers making daughters marry men they don't want to marry.
Also, if the men can have multiple wives, why can't the women have multiple husbands?
You are so desperate to have a man
I think this immoral
😂😂😂…it's like a animal culture
I was a bit shocked when she said her husband name is kuyate. Im Mande from senwgal and kuyate is know surname of the mandinka people
It is logical for the Maasai to have more women. See how they live. Without company, just the two of them (wife and husband) can't survive here. Living in that conditions demand lot of working hands and so on. This is the answer.
So do gorillas
I saw it on a documentary
Wonder how they would react to a woman with two husbands.
I think that Maasai women are very beautiful. 🌹⭐
Amazing video. I love Stephanie and her Maasai family so much. ❤❤❤
What happens when the husband dies? Do the women run the compound alone?
A Good Running Story
They all look very very happy that’s all that matters
The Origin of the word Massage
Ok that’s it!! I’m moving to Tanzania
Stephanie will leave when she gains her own confidence as a woman and person through hard lessons. The deep disenchantment with the 'western' world is written on her face and the fact that she is drastically changing her environment speaks volumes for me. I am convinced that in 15 years she will not be there as long as she can afford the choice financially and mentally. And no , I don't want to offend anyone, but this is my point of view. These are tribes and societies that for a long period of the earth's history have remained isolated in every sense and this has its consequences. Of course, the topic is deep to discuss. Thanks for the video.
I'm watching this video, there are such happy eyes! It's amazing.
Beautiful! ❤Thank you for sharing 😊😊😊❤️
Ona nije normalna Stefani uzas
The idea of why a wife would want her husband to have more wives looks quite similar to the reason(s) that some Native American Tribes/Clans wives wanted their husband to marry other wives. (In the 1600-1800s; before the interference of white settlers/pioneers) The roles, tasks, expectations, etc, that were placed on women were ENORMOUS! The women are/were responsible for EVERYTHING related to the living/shelter in which everyone lived, from skinning and butchering the animals, preparing the hides (Scraping, Rubbing-In of brains combined with other products to make it supple and waterproof, smoking it over a fire, sewing multiple hides together & the collection of the rest of the building materials, decorating/painting the outside of it (E.g. Birch Bark, making Poles from young trees, etc), continually setting it up & then taking it down & the packing of it to move camps – sometimes every few days, and other times between seasons; keeping the home’s interior clean and organised; the preparation and making of blankets and clothing from animals’ fur and skins; the laundering and repairs of the clothing; cooking and making other household items from animals’ organs (E.g. Water Storage from an animals stomach, making pemmican and storing it inside an animals’ cleaned intestines, making/weaving of baskets, rope, etc from cat-tails & other plant materials; gathering all of the vegetables, berries, mushrooms, smaller animals, herbs, the preparation, drying, and making of all the food & medicines; child-bearing & child-care; and more! If a man has only 1 wife, she is responsible for everything herself, but if/when her husband marries multiple wives, not only do they share the work, but they also keep each other company while the men are gone on raids, hunting trips, etc. Also, when a woman’s husband died in battle, etc, often his brother would take in the widow. This not only made someone responsible for providing meat and protection for the widow and her children, but it also meant that there were more children born. Unlike the white settler wives who often gave birth to 10 children, the Native wives had a much lower birth rate.
Stephanie herself won’t let her husband have another wife 😂 speaks volumes because she acts like she’s so touched by these people and has become one of them, but she’s still jealous of the thought of her husband being with another woman. Also, how do these women not see that it’s not equal when the husband can have sex with many women, but they as women cannot have sex with many men? 😂 come on now. I don’t care what culture you are…surely you’re not that daft to not realize how hypocritical that is
The fact these women don’t realize they are just playthings to the men in their lives 😂
Ja wenn Sie es braucht, dann sei es ihr gegönnt!
In the west it's bad luck to count how many wives you have
I love Yayai,so free spirited 🥰🥰🫂
When you are circumcised then sex just becomes a chore, so why would you care if someone comes in to lighten your load…I bet she is a circumcised female.
