  1. I've said it before and I'll say it again, Hotel Rwanda is by far the scariest non-horror film ever made. It's a film about the depths of wickedness and insanity the human race can plunge down into, and it's actually downplayed from historical events – you couldn't invite people to watch the real thing.

  2. 1:04 1:14 1:37 no wonder for these reasons the RPA was conducting massacres against the IDP (mainly Hutu people) in one particular incident. I meant, who can blame the Tutsi soldiers for swearing blood revenge on the Hutu as many of them had slaughter all Tutsi down to their babies.

  3. I still will never understand why the world is so evil when she was talking about the little girl crying not to be killed my eyes exploded with tears and I felt my hear drop to my stomach in school watching this in class how in the world can you sit there and murder a child in cold blood!!!!. The government and the us nation failed Rwanda badly

  4. I cannot stand the white women saying " they forced me to watch ". Step in. Fight. Try to protect the children. If you cared you would have tried, stop trying to spin a narrative of " oh i watched the child get murdered I had no power ". An english woman getting murdered in Rwanda would have caused the nation to stop the genocide.

  5. The worst part is how this in real life, Tatiana did have her brother & his wife go missing & likely killed, though his two daughters DID survive.

  6. I'll feel so sorry for Tatiana if she has'nt found her brother for all those years than unfortunately he might really be dead poor girl lost her only sibling, I really wish we could have done something to prevent that but the world still always had problems to get stuck in those days and these days as well but still feel very sorry for her

  7. The west abandoned Rwanda. The French even encouraged the Hutu Military to cover up the bodies with palm tree branches and drapes so the world press didn't see the severity of the genocide as it was the French that supplied weapons to the Hutu military. In the end, it was the Tootsie General, now President, who pushed back the Hutu military and militia into neighboring countries. The war still continues though.

The actress who plays a Red Cross worker is actually saying words from real Red Cross workers who witnessed the horrors the genocide. Despite, at first, Red Cross and UN Peacekeepers not targets by the Military or the Militia, it changed when UN Commanders on the ground decided to take action themselves and involve themselves in trying to protect the victims of the genocide. 100s of Red Cross volunteers and UN Peacekeepers died trying to save innocent lives. Out of the nearly 1,000,000 killed it is estimated that about half were children.

Despite this atrocity, the relationship between decedents of the Hutu & Tootsie tribes have greatly improved with bi-partisan support in the country & government. Rwanda is not the country it once was and it continues to grow and advance, like many African Nations. The people of Rwanda have not forgotten as there are still countless bodies that have yet to be unearthed and found. But life goes on and the country stands firm and strong. With a booming economy and growing middle class, Rwanda is becoming one of the many nations in Africa to overcome its past and strive towards a great and prosperous future!

  8. Omg the part where she was talking about how the little girl cried out to her saying "please don't let them kill me, I promise I won't be tutsi anymore"… 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 HOW COULD PEOPLE BE SO CRULE!!!

  9. One of the worst parts is that NO ONE helped. Everyone knew what was going on. USA, UK . . . Literally everyone but not a single country would help them. And my teacher believes it's simply because they had nothing to offer us. No oil or precious metals or anything we wanted. So we don't care about them. Not a single country cared

  10. The most sad thing about the Rwandan Genocide, is that NO other nation saved the Tutsis from the Interhamwe and the Hutu Militia. Over almost a million deaths, all started by racial tension and years of hatred.
