He who is centered in the past can never move forward into the future. It is people like this that are holding society back. Slavery happened in history, no person alive in America was either a slave or a slave owner. If he really gave a damn about getting rid of slavery instead of his own political power, attention, and money, he would be fighting for the slaves that currently exist in places in Africa and other remote areas of the world.
