Iran confirms deploying warship to Red Sea as tensions rise


Iranian state media confirmed Tehran sent a warship to the Red Sea as the area rapidly militarises.
The IRIS Alborz, part of the 94th Naval Fleet of the Iranian army, travelled through the Bab al-Mandeb Strait near Yemen to arrive at the Red Sea.

  1. The lack of shipping through the Red Sea has to having a negative effect on the countries that border it. Egypt will be losing huge amounts of revenue, and will not be happy with Yemen if this nonsense keeps up.

  2. Iran sent one warship to the Red Sea, what a joke. Go against an American strike group and we will see how it all turns out not to mention the submarines that you cannot see, not to mention that we also own space.
