  1. Why does everybody care so much all museum pieces are stolen they're usually not from the country there from and the reason they're there is to show the culture of other countries now shut up

  2. why this channel underate and underestimate thieving. its is also a struggle. dont think like just you and your views living this world.

  3. most artifacts of mohenjo daro and the other cities of indus valley civilization are there too. their rightful owners are only indians and pakistanis. its our culture and history not YOURS. the british have stolen everything from us.

  4. I see how this is controversial and I’m aware half of it’s stolen but wouldn’t it be nice if we could have a museum having artefacts from all around the world instead of having to go to different countries

  5. I don’t think it’s stolen it’s been excavated and typically museums return artifacts once they seethe diplomacy makes it safe. Do you remember the archeologists that were murdered by ISISandISL and then they destroyed all the statues

  6. Why do they not return these to their home countries? Most of these artificats belong to developing countries, if returned back, wouldn't these developing countries be able to not only house what belongs to them in their own museums, but also be able to promote tourism which would add to their revenue. Can someone tell me why they are reluctant to return these..?

  7. Imagine you could see the oldest door in here from ancient Mesopotamia, see this perspective, at least you could still see it in here,, if not you won’t able to stare at it forever,, we must be a little more appreciative

  8. Chinese-American here. My parents made it a point to take me to the British Museum when we last visited the UK to drive home the point that the British had taken many priceless artifacts from China during their occupation. While I am glad that these objects have been well-preserved, the fact remains that they should never have been there in the first place.

  9. Since the Benin bronzes are not the property of the British Museum but of Benin (since they were stolen, there was no legally valid transfer of ownership), why don't the Nigeria people go there and simply take their things back? If they get stopped by the guards they have a legal right to self-defense.

  10. NOOOO fr? The British steal?? Who would’ve thought.

British stole artifacts and sold them

British invaded Palestine and sold them to bloodthirsty man eaters

What history is showing us is that the British care more about money, artifact, and power more than human life

    Bravo England
