  1. It sucks that people are getting stabbed but I predict something weird is going happen in the UK soon. A once feared empire is reduced to being disarmed and a joke. The UK has more rights for criminals than it's own citizens who wake up and decide they aren't going to be a problem. You aren't even aloud to defend yourself as a citizen and some sick people just want to hurt someone, God Damn the King and God Damn the UK

  2. To bad they don’t have any guns to protect themselves from machete wielding criminals. I feel for people who have had their ability to defend themselves stripped away from them by people with the means to defend themselves from attackers. Should be a wake up call if it’s not guns, it’s knives, if it’s not knives it’s hammers, if it’s not hammers it’s rocks. There will always be evil people and victims when take weapons away from people you take their ability to defend themselves from evil men.

  3. The land of acid attacks and stabbings, oh and bad raps. What is the intend of this? You think even ONE will put a knife down cause Idris made a song? Psssh come on…

  4. Rap songs pushing tyranny, make it make sense please. Knives don't kill people people do just like the stupid gun control laws, focus on criminals not good citizens.

  5. Machetes are mainly owned by gardeners, swords are mainly owned by nerds. Neither gardeners or nerds are commiting crimes with them. Why punish them for the actions of others?

  6. The school system also plays a big part, these teachers are targeting our youths, mistreating them so they then become frustrated, get angry and develop mental issues. Parents please support your children, the school might call everyday about detention which can be very stressful but please help your children to get back on track mentally, you don’t want them to turn to the streets and taking their anger out on others, home should be a place of peace and where they feel safe. Imaging dealing with all the pressures of the system and then having problems at home too.

  7. The ops to the youth dem in the low-income communities are other blacks with a knife. Bringing themselves down.
Not surprising when all they listen to is drill artists rapping about stabbing each other during the middle of knife epidemic.
They grow thinking that being a gangster , thug, roadman is somehow the best option for them given their circumstances.

  8. When you look over the pond at the UK for Checks notes Knife violence. Great example why the rest of the world thinks we are nuts with all the school shootings and such. Jesus, can we claim asylum?

  9. Idris has skill all allover the show, bangor ! And thats without the main message, kids use fists to settle disagreements , put knifes down it aint hard !

  10. Great production Idris. My condolences to our brothers and sisters from across the pond in the U.S. Your problems are knives, our problem is guns. But we both have the same common problem, our stupid governments cutting back funds, programs and education and not helping keep the youth out of trouble. We must all stay loud and out spoken and make ourselves heard so they can start doing something about the problem.

  11. The girl at featured at the end was my niece. I read Ashley’s eulogy… hardest thing I’ve ever done. Appreciate this message more than you know. Thank you for honouring all these beautiful souls that were taken from us to soon💛💔

  12. Do you really think a bill will stop knife crime?? I love Idris Elba, but this video is missing the point. He should be addressing youths in the hood, and not elderly members of the elite sitting in the parliament or city councils. The anger in this video – while understandable – is completely misdirected.

  13. A bunch of guys dressed like American gangbangers crying about knife violence. Maybe you should stop worshipping ghetto culture. That will probably get you further.

  14. Idris Elba is the UK black celebrity actor that will absolutely promote their bs for more money and “fame” 🇺🇸🇬🇧👎🏼👎🏼

  15. Take that energy on the road and put it in to legit stuff… don't ever think you don't deserve it… change your mind set, what you believe will come to fruition. A lot of the quality's you take from road you can transfer into work, endurance, drive, responsibility for close people around you, encoragment, not afraid to challenge, critique, problem solving. These are all quality's that people are looking for to be leaders within there company's… don't count yourself out. What you have been through has made you who you are today, good and bad and all you can do is use that to your advantage. If just one person reads what I have wrote and it can changes there mind set just a little bit it will be worth the 5 minutes I took to explain this.

  16. Lol so corny. "Ban guns, steak knives, hammers, bats, hockey sticks, cars, lighters, bottles, fists, feet…..". Where does it end? How about you raise your kids right?

  17. 'You scared to take an ass-whoopin'
This what makes you a Man (puts his fits up)
    When I was growing up
This was all the protection we needed
    You win some
    You lose some
    But you live
You live to fight another day
    – Willie Jones – Friday (1995)

Todays kids need to hear the same message.

  18. First line hits hard and doesn’t stop all the way through the song. ❤❤❤ lost a good friend of mine to knife crime stabbed in the neck over a bin bag being set alight by a thrown cigarette.

  19. You guys don't get it. Family breakdown, no dads in the home, boys and girls being raised by their phones, sexual promiscuity rampant etc etc. Fix the black family and you will fix knife crime amongst blacks. Its not a government problem its iur problem. All the government will do is make things worst. Gov are jnot problem solvers there power mongers
