  1. At home presently 150k is nothing for now , even the other family you are talking about are not determined and they cannot endure, they have family that can harbor them for a start but they don't understand how abroad system works. That there agency business is not lucrative like you said, because many people venture into it and is now competitive.

  2. Thanks Phrankleen, seems amazing that am among the few Nigerians who never thought of living outside the country. Am a specialist doctor and also an adjunct lecturer to a private medical school. My defence is I can't trade the safety of my boys for anything. I am not ready to loose my kids to a society that won't allow you to discipline them appropriately, but willing to throw them into jail at the slightest opportunity.
It is not all of us that are crazy about abroad.
Thank you educating the people, hope they will learn from your discussions.

  3. Please advice me! I have a job which pays me about #250k naira and I have other business ( drugs and surgical consumables)that brings in money enough more than my salary. I was able to build a 2 storey building 6 flats for rent, but people keep advicing me to leave all this and move over to abroad that I would make more money than what am earning. What would you advise me to do. Thanks

  4. I am reminded of the expression: "My people have gone into captivity because they have no knowledge (knowledge of motherland and Oyinboland; their honorable men are famished." I expect some level of wisdom for anyone over forty. Obviously, this is profoundly lacking with this guy, and the cycle of thoughtlessness continues.

  5. I watched in the 1990's people who left well paying jobs and migrate to the US. They ended up working in super market, clothing stores, hardware stores or daily laborers. Some returned to their country after 20 years aboard with a couple thousand of dollars. other are living pay check to pay check in this country. they were the luck ones who got their papers. the ones who did not get their papers will die in this country than return to their country poor. One who came in the 1990's recently passed away and friends and family (cousins) had to chip in money to cremate his body. his ashes still at the funeral home. other who returned to the country of their birth, will wait for the country to give them an old age pension.

  6. So the wife should go try the care job or go do door to door hair braiding, do something for GOD sake or go back and don't add to these generous people who hosted you and yr family. Afibi sun olore

  7. Phrankleen ologbon. You hide your wife from us abi(joking) 😁.
My own story goes thus: I was left at the airport for hours. When he called after hours he sent a text and ask me to find my way to Camberwell. I found my way to Camberwell as a first timer in the UK and Europe, inside cold. When I got there this dude charged me. I swear, he charged me for staying in his house for 3-nights. I am not joking. The guy in the story is a good friend but the dude messed up by fighting him

  8. I left Nigeria at 43 too. But I left the way people should emigrate. I was recruited by an IT Consulting firm. They filed all the paperwork and I had a job waiting for me when I arrived. The only problem was that it took a while (about 17 years) to become a US citizen. It wasn’t all rosy but I was better off than I was in Nigeria. So if you want to “japa”, make sure you are not coming here illegally. Otherwise it will add additional stress to the usual stress of moving to a foreign country.

  9. Oh I’ve just got two Nigerians family want to rent both of my properties. I’m doing reference check on both families and they are currently living at Airbnb because they just came over last month from Nigeria to Sheffield. Could it be the same people? They said they want to pay 6 months in advance for both properties

  10. It's just occurred to me that , when you come to the UK or other developed country….., this world stage……you need to be able to do anything within reason to be highly competitive in this place in order to succeed….there is competition or work at every level..
"Don't despise things of small beginnings"..bible verse.

  11. This family is now broken up…his friend shouldn't have accommodated…, becos his decision at 43 yes old was soooo wrong especially with children involved.
The friendship is over , enmity in famlies. What a nightmare….🤔🤔.
We need to be contented and grow step by step.

  12. Nigerians seem to worship and or desire to be their colonizers, why? I've visited 47 countries so far and have never found a country that welcomed Africans and especially not Nigerians because of the liar and scammers stereotypes.

  13. Nigerians seem to flee Nigeria like people fleeing a sinking ship. Why don't they work to improve the country instead of fleeing then moving abroad and obviously lying as they falsely praise the country they fled. Nobody trust or believe the lie and or claims of a person who fled. If you love and treasure your country, you wouldn't flee.

  14. Wow… When Victoria gave that proverb, it literally made my jaw drop, lol… lovely listening to the banter! I like that these are real issues with thousands if not more in these #shoes. I agree that these decisions as critical as they can be is not given enough thought and are logically no brainer in most cases to stay back. But I also can relate- barely a year plus in the UK with my fam too, I always say this system will test your WEAK muscles! So your plans as 'ironclad' as they may seem will take a dent! On the flip, when you concluded on colonization damaged mindsets, I would say it's not that simple! sometimes trading 'SAFE' for an opportunity or an idea, is BOLD. I have my stories and am ready to chat through them… lol. Cheers to a fabulous 2023!

    Nice one! Great content.. @TENVISIONS

  15. Lovely video. In as much that things are not easy in uK in my opinion I think the guy is also lazy he should be able to start from anywhere, going to another man's land we should understand that we need to understand the environment first is not advisable to go to uK first time with family too much of responsibility

  16. Your wife has a very lovely soothing voice and she has a way of bringing you back to centre 😂 You are a good team.
    You should invite her more.

The man in this story is delusional. I have personally stopped telling people about the realities of life abroad. Everyone is welcomed. Let them come and experience whatever and share.

  17. There’s another young families predicament that recently was brought to light, couple arrived here as students, wife heavily pregnant and a young child in tow. They have no secure accommodation or secure jobs. Wife went into Labour and her baby has been taken into care by social services!

  18. That man is the most stupidest person I ever knew. I feel like giving him a dirty slap. So he didn't do his own finding before packing his family and embarking on an unknown destination?. He is a fool. Why coming to London with his family in the first place when nobody has offered him a job on arrival . Some people are crazy honestly.

  19. The resent rat race in Nigeria is coursed by insecurity, no NEPA light, no good road, poverty , strike , fuel scarcity. Air pollution by generator hmmm a whole lot 😭😭😭 .. oppression makes a wise man mad in every aspect of life.
