If you are meeting your expenses in your home country then stay there I donot know Nigeria what kind of jobs and housing you get but if you are ldoing well then stay there I donot know what education is like there for kids but if you are not well to do
you can make money here if you find a job initially everyone takes whatever is available now is a really bad tine due to coronavirus people work in grocery stores etc but housing is very expensive in Toronto May be other parts is ok

Please stay in Nigeria, you are doing well. The man needs to go vacation in Canada during the winter before making the move . 😂😂😂 That will make him think twice before going to that country. I dropped everything in the USA and moved to Canada. 6 months of winter is depressing. Depression is not fun, fam. Please understand that you are well off in Nigeria and at 47 years old, he will have a tough time integrating the work force here, especially when starting from zero.
Canada is a really nice country and the people are very polite. However, they still have racism in Canada. Plus, it's cold, gets less sunlight, and costs more to live there.

Oh no do not move to Canada. It takes years to get acclimated and used to life overseas. Discrimination is real out here despite your qualification. Canada weather is really harsh especially from West Africa. You are what diasporas dream of to take the family and kids back to Africa. You can always send your kids to Canada abroad for study.

Adults should stop using their children as their pension. The children were not asked to be here and they should stop guilt tripped/ psychological blackmail their children as if they owes them for bringing them into the world
Stay in Nigeria if you are doing well. Send your children to study in Canada. You can also go on holidays overseas, if you can afford it. You are a sensible woman. I hope your husband realize what he has, before he looses it. God bless you.

I am a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant. Now at 38 years old, the lady will most likely have a hard time securing a study permit, the husband almost 0 chances, so it is most likely a visitor visa route and then find a permanent solution after arriving in Canada. Now to keep the peace, the wife should allow the husband go ahead with the study permit process, the application will probably be rejected so she can say she has at least acquiesced to his wants but it just never worked out.
What some people do in diaspora to achieve in Nigeria, he wants to sell up in Nigeria and uproot to Canada. Talk about hustling backwards.
How many pple get 20k us dollars saved let be factual. With 9 plots of land we know what they sell land now. Omo this Man should use that money to expand his business and send his children abroad after making them really skilled. Or else they will want to come back. 47 is no age to hustle in a new country the system will delay u more and even frustrate you.
My advice to anybody who wants to migrate for whatever reasons is to follow their heart! Age is not an issue if you know what you are about and what you want out of life. Everybody’s migration story and destiny is different. Doing it for the children is enough reason to make such a move in my experience and opinion
