My sister in law abandoned my brother to follow her sisters to France. She got in and today is having document issues. My brother has forgotten her. He is back home working hard to advance his life. She is there now aging and single doing odd jobs. Our mentalities in Africa is something else.

You’ll have to start all over in the U.S., too. Your degrees and credentials, from back home, mean absolutely nothing. I know doctors and lawyers who practiced in their home countries, only to drive cabs in the U.S.

At age 40, it's too late to migrate to Australia and Canada as a student and a permanent resident. I will advise you to not waste your investments. Give your kids the best education in Africa and they can apply for a skilled immigrant visa before age 30 years. The grass is not that greener on the other side.
