I have had the momentum 4s for a year now. Unless you are traveling like crazy, you don’t need top tier ANC.
I’m surprised at your description of the PX7 2Se’s as being too bassy with a lacking mid range. I’ve found them to be dynamic, spacious but with a neutral sound with a punchy (not over blown) compared to the Sonys and Apple!

I like the Sony’s, but the lack of a slope in the ear cup bothered me. The mesh inside the cup pressed against my ear, which gave me ear fatigue earlier

I went from sennheiser momentum 3 to the whx4 and regretted it quite a bit. But since the whx4 was newer I stuck to it.
Doesn't surprise me to see that the momentum 4 is better than the whx5

Bose is better overall. Design is subtle tho
so for the only 2 things that matters, the quality of the sound and the comfort Bose are the one. ok thanks
This was super helpful, thank you!! I am leaning towards the Bose d/t the comfort, that is my issue with in-the-ear headphones, and with over-the-ear, my piercings usually bother me after some time… I am hoping these provide relief to my head and ears!
