What is going on.
The firestorms in California are not, as some insist, a ‘hell’ on earth. They are not even close to Hell and those who say that they are do so because they have absolutely no understanding of Hell. In the videos we see of the fires there are people who, to whatever degree, have some hope. In Hell, all people have absolutely none. In Hell there can never be any hope, even the slightest, to escape or even relieve the torment of the wrath of God (Luke 16:19-31). It is the place where the ‘worm’ of an evil conscience bites and gnaws eternally, and the fire of the fury of God upon those who do insult to the Spirit of grace is never quenched (Mark 9:48). All who refuse the Lord Jesus Christ end up in this eternally bitter and hopeless Hell. People MUST repent of their sins and believe the Gospel (Mark 1:15) if they are to avoid Hell when they die.
