This is an honest analysis of the genesis of afrobeat. Bros , you will live long for acknowledging the role of Ghanaian highlife music as the foundation of afrobeat. Than you so much.
But why Ghana men are so sweet đ đ đ am asking for my sister đ đ đ
What i don't understand is, Ghanians know and own this things, yet the world doesn't know them with an original sound…
Nigerians don't respect Ghana at all. They forget Ghana had independence before them. Ghana our problem is, we don't support our own.
Who be dx mumu
Motolani is a f00l!
Highlife it a fusion of kpanlogo, palm wine,b)b)b), w)l)m)
Stupid fake Ghanaian claiming to be Nigerian.
This man know the history about the origination of Afrobeat and clearly said the truth no cap God bless you very much
Great clarification….point on Ghana as a country fail to appreciate what they have
Youâre also ignorant, I donât blame you because youâre not creative enough as a music producer to know that a lot of hardwork, sleepless night goes into this, thatâs why itâs easier for you to pack the credit of what Nigerians had worked hard for to another country. What a shame. And you were talking about Wande coal freestyle ft R2 bs as if bumper 2 bumper wasnât a thin then, go and listen to the percussion again it was produced by don jazzy, that bounce has already been a thing before Wande coal freestyle. And the first person to use that bounce was mr Paul play and truly that bounce is Ghana bounce but just that stuff alone doesnât warrant you to say Afrobeats is from Ghana. Before that bounce weâd had so many hit songs from a lot of newskool arts then Or should we say the Caribbean owns Highlife because itâs originally from calypso sound? This is a big insult on all sound engineer, music producers, artist and everyone behind the success of Nigerian music. This one just Dey here open mouth and nonsense Dey jump out of him mouth.
This is your own opinion about Afrobeats⊠pure trash
He really knows music.
How old are you ,you don't know what you are talking about
Nigerians think theyâre better than other African countries lol funny people shoutout to the real ones
Nigerians will not gree because is Ghana đŹđ đąđ

Mumu Guy
And for the record, Ebo Taylor is a Ghanian, and one of the most popular highlife musicians in Ghana, and was a close friend of Fela, and was there when Fela was putting afrobeat together. And I also hope you can hear alot of Fuji, juju and Apala in the present day afrobeats too. So stop selling yourself out. Is just like someone saying highlife is Calypso, just because Calypso influenced it. Be well informed.
Abeg waytin be this fool name for ig
Something a Ghana legend came out to say,Ebo Taylor said Nigeria own afrobeat fool
Abeg shut up đ€ if you born pikin way Outside give am name you fit carry am five am say na him born am na foolđ

I keep coming to this content. This self acclaimed music pundit. Please, I urge all of you to go and watch DJ Pakorich's interview, and 3 FM Drive interview of Ebo Taylor veteran Ghanaian musician and contemporary of Fela,he confirms Fela created afrobeat not Ghana. So Mr Stupid pundit, it's now in the open that all the negative insults you pour on Nigerians are all your numbed skull, you son of a nobody.
Ignorant Nigerians will come for you especially those who never hard stable Electricity their entire life, giant of Africa without light what a piss take
5:19 he was right. Nigerians will always discredit Ghanaians
I don't know why Nigerians don't want to accept this. Yes Nigerians are more successful but the sound came from Ghana. If you accept this you won't die.
It's three months since I made my first comment. I have been justified. Go and watch DJ Pakorich's interview of Ebo Taylor. He just confirmed Fela created afrobeat not Ghana or Ghanaians. Shame on Mr analyst. Just because you can articulate yourself in English language doesn't qualify you as a music pundit. Henceforth, you better shut your trap or you been consumed by wholesale ignorance.
Is some ignorant Nigerians gonna accept the truth about Afrobeat originated from Ghana lol. The small Ghana has a lot to offer lol

All African have their music my brother please stop fooling yourself.
Oga shut up!! Na ur mama go shut up, mumu, they Don born ur papa then? Go and do research and stop saying rubbish.
So, is Fela no more the originator of Afrobeat in Nigeria? What of palm wine gyrations music that was popular in the Nigerian Universities that sounds like highlife? Afrobeat is a combination of Fuji, Juju, highlife and Jazz music. Ghanaians can't claim Afrobeat.
You are right bro
