  2. Whenever a country is facing economic problems, first check if they have any economic/trade/geopolitical relations with China. That gives you the root cause. Directly cause is when china is actually causing a debt trap, this one is a later stage(results part). Indirect root cause is – the leadership was dumb enough (to get in bed with china).
