  1. I one of the citizens of Nigeria needs to house myself, my 4 kids and my husband. But it is not easy to rent a house with low salary and high bill to rent a house. What would Jesus do in the situation? Life is more than anything else. Government please do what you think Jesus will do.

  2. What would Jesus do? Our leaders should ask this question. Where do you want to send the citizens of Nigeria to? Many are on the street sleeping right now. As a citizen I don't know what next? And where exactly government wants to move we the citizens and non citizens to. Let's think about what Jesus will do? We all deserve a better life.

  3. Clearing the city of slums, shanties is the right thing to do. Enforcing building and environmental codes is the right thing to do. There is no place in the world where people live on train tracks, on road sides, under the bridges like Lagos.

  4. Looking at the comments i realize people have no human sympathy in this country.
These people were given 5 days eviction notice, 5 days? Who can relocate with a 5 days notice? Some of you are saying they should go back to their villages, have u seen the price for transport? How many of them can afford the outrageous transports. Government do not care about these people, even if Government gives every occupant as little as 150k, it would go a long way.

  5. Nigerian government design and build walkways into your city regeneration plans, stop acting like bush people.Walkways makes a lot of difference in a city and ban people from walking on the roads.Go and learn from dakar in senegal if cities like kigali, nairobi even kampala is too far for you.Thank you.

  6. Yak yak yak !!!! Typical, just typical!

So much is being said, but a little being done!!!

They come around and smash these shanties up in a false show of strength, but then leave the places fallow with all the rubble and debris strewn everywhere !

Nothing is done for months until the squatters come back and occupy the spaces again!

And they go through the annoying process of smashing up the shanties all over again!

No proactiveness, no coordination, no synergy, no established trajectory, no continuity between the different government agencies!

End result, the city becomes a pitiful mess and a woeful eyesore, looking like a bombed disaster zone!

So so Yak Yak Yak!! Too much talking! Not enough positive action!!

    👊🏾🇳🇬👊🏾🇳🇬!
