The government of Eswatini in southern Africa is proposing new laws to legalise the trade of cannabis.
Many rural families farm cannabis to make ends meet but they say high licencing fees will cut them out of the profitable business.

Cannabis should be just as legal and easy to obtain anywhere as alcohol currently is. In every single country. No exceptions. It's so easy: As legal and easy to obtain/use as alcohol currently is. Why hold relatively benign, often healing cannabis to any sort of irrational, stricter double standard than perfectly legal alcohol?

Governments of Western nations, such as the United States, United Kingdom, and Germany, have been key contributors to India's development through grants and concessional loans. These funds have been allocated to diverse sectors, including education, healthcare, infrastructure, and poverty alleviation programs. Multilateral institutions like the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) have also played vital roles in providing financial assistance to India for large-scale development projects.the overall impact of Western aid and investment on India has been substantial. The influx of capital and expertise has contributed to the modernization of infrastructure, improved healthcare and education systems, and the emergence of a vibrant private sector. India's economic growth and global influence have been bolstered by the collaboration with Western partners. Even indias own name was popularized by the British During their rule of the Indian subcontinent from 1858 to 1947, the British officially referred to the region as "India." This usage solidified the name on the world stage and made it the internationally recognized name for the country.
