When you're dealing with people with deep pockets who can buy the law and the authorities in one hand and the improvished on the other hand, it's very difficult. Change will only come if you can't be bought and you are literally willing to die to fight for change and there are enough people consistent in the fight.
I'm a Black American who watches news from around the world especially news on the continent and I watch videos and channels such as this one. In America and the Caribbean there's a push for us to get reparations from the countries that enslaved and oppressed us currently and historically. In America one of the richest Black man by the name of Byron Allen who owns a crap ton of television channels is suing Comcast for racial bias in a 20 billion dollar lawsuit and it is being heard by the Supreme Court next month on the 13th . The 1866 Civil Rights Act was passed to protect mainly newly freed slaves from being excluded and taken advantage of in business . Bryon is alleging that Comcast is violating that right by not licensing his channels and Comcast and the DOJ because Tangerine Timmy aka Trump is involved are trying to do away with that law which will undermine everything we are currently working for here in America ,now I wrote all of this because a lot of black people aren't for supporting Byron because he's married to a non black woman but we as people have to learn to look at the bigger picture and to put our emotions to the side and use logic. Wether you like Sowore or not doesn't matter, what matters is that what is being done to him is illegal and morally wrong and we as people should be allowed to openly criticize our governments and nobody should be imprisoned or killed for it. More and more governments around the world are slowly stripping away more and more of our rights as citizens and just know if the government will do it to him you can be next .I have been all over the world and no matter where I go people throughout the dispora are pretty much in the same conditions and we are too intelligent and amazing for it to be so.

All these contradiction call countries in Africa were setup by Europeans if we as black people really want to accept these labels we should seat down on a round table and come up with a constitution and a form of government that takes into account are cultural diversity.

What a shame lawlessness. Its pity Nigerians never hold their hands up for lawlessness in nigeria, for all bad practices instead they encourage bad practise because Nigerians think they are the most perfect people. The day they take responsibility fir their bad practises and advice eachother well they will live well and have a oeacefull prosperous country. That country is so unsafe and unstable, if you visit there you might be victim of this oppression and harassment especially the rate at which SARS and EFCC is violating everyone in the country to extent of going into university campuses and other academical establishments

Getting harder and harder every year to remain optimistic about Nigeria. My parents gist me about Independence Day in 1960 how good Nigeria was then, that people did not want to stay in the UK, US etc. My generation did not get to see the peaceful thriving Nigeria. Leadership and mindsets need to change.

You know the hard to swallow pills about this was, the same judge who allowed DSS to hold Sowore for 45days (Judge Taiwo Taiwo) which suits them. Ordered the same DSS to release him on bail. And that becomes hard to follow. DSS is now threatening to report Judge Taiwo to the body of NJC for not listening to their plea to further hold Sowore for another 10 days. Hence they've now taking this case to another court where they are now. Which in theory making Judge Taiwo ruling not holding ground and his competence and profession been questioned. This is a federal high Court Judge. Nigeria is sinking very fast. Nigeria is indeed experiencing a military regime in disguise of democracy governance. Sowore was also accused of insulting the president……what a sad people we have ruling us.
We just need to stop pretending that we are independent. We cannot be when our states (bar a few) are either weak, failing or failed.
